The Nottingham North Road Federations fourth young bird race was back at Newton Aycliffe County Durham on the 30/8/20 at 10am into a helping strong North West wind.
The leavers were pulled by Ian Daikin and the race began.
To the top twelve in the federation and winning the federation and also taking 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th federation was the “ Mr Ruddington Rocket” Paul Crooks flying 115 miles. His federation winner a blue cock this was bred by John Norris of Grantham and is bred out of Johns 2019 2nd open 1st section NRCC Lerwick and 1st Nottingham NR Fed Lerwick 2019 winning Herman Cuesters bird he is becoming a very consistent bird for Paul in his already strong collection team of Herman Cuesters he is building up over time. Paul’s velocities were 1899, 1887, 1831, 1830 and 6 x 1829.

3rd Fed was Phil Cresswell & Family flying 115 miles with a blue Darkness flown Herman Cuesters cock doing 1897.
4th Fed was Steve Lansdowne flying 132 miles with a blue Herman Cuesters cock bred from out of purchased stock from Steve Evans of Caerphilly in Wales Steve’s birds are flying on the Darkness system flying back to just the perch with a velocity of 1874.
