Hi all we hope you are keeping safe and well in these difficult times we have some results to go through still so here we go on the South Road Route first at Brotherton SRFC at Buckingham 1st was Tony Halloways & Sons with a Chequer White flight hen which was bred by Kevin Robinson of Normanton and she is a Karl Herman her velocity of 1125.

2nd, 3rd & 4th was John Booth his first a blue hen which was bred by Andy Marsh of Normanton and is bred from Andre De Jong Dutch stock birds the second bird which has previously won already she is a Gurdo Lux bird x a Keith Baker club exchange bird the third bird a blue hen which is bred out of john’s 1st section K NFC Messac hen paired to a Raw De Sablon bird Velocities of 1119 & 2 x 1115.

Brotherton SRFC at Bovingdon 1st & 4th was John Booth his first the previous scoring blue hen bred out his Messac section winning hen the second bird the previous scoring Keith Baker x Gurdo Lux blue hen velocities of 1364 & 1337.

2nd & 3rd was Tony Halloways & Son their first a Dark hen which is a Kevin Robinson X Tony’s own strain the second a grizzle hen which is a Peter Hagland X Jim Emerson breeding velocities of 1360 & 1338.

Another outstanding result to report is of John Booth and his close friends of Les and Andrew Stuckey and Frank Burnley who join forces to form the flying syndicate name of The Yorkshire Puddings in the RPRA one loft race they have won 1st Ace pigeon 2020 RPRA one loft race the bird was directly bred by the Platteeuw family and was organised by Jane Mitchel as John has previously had some of these birds to race and was highly impressed so they decided on trying some in the one loft race so entered some youngsters the syndicate purchased from them they have entered the one loft event for the past five years and have achieved some high positions including a 1st hot spot race from Appleton congratulations to you all.

Pontefract SRFC at Kettering 1st & 4th was Mr & Mrs Dennis Underwood with both their birds being Lambrecht’s from Kevin Lawson bred lines velocities of 1780 & 1766.

2nd & 3rd was John Booth his first a Bill Duckworth Lambrecht’s followed by a Andy Marsh bred youngster velocities of 1779 & 1775.

The Normanton Federation and Pontefract SRFC in which they fly in the Normanton fed would like to thank the following people who have helped every week in job roles in helping mark pigeons safely in the Covid pandemic and also setting manual clocks safely for everyone in the organisation so they can race their pigeons the ETS markers and setters David Williams and Stuart Farrar.

Selby Unicorn SRFC at Bovingdon 1st & 3rd was M & C Aldred flying 144 miles doing 1375 & 1364.

2nd was P Summers & Partner with a blue chequer cock on 1372

4th was Wright & Lock on 1361.

Knottingley SRFC at Bovingdon 1st & 3rd flying 149 miles was K Wright were he also topped the Central Yorkshire Federation doing 1396.829 & 1395.510 

2nd was D Taylor 1396 and 4th was Albert & Mark Bainbridge with a blue chequer cock doing 1395.

Colley SRHS at Newbury taking 1,2,3,4 club and 1st & 2nd Stocksbridge Federation was the Marple Brothers flying 136 miles with velocities of 1386 & 1385,1374 & 1341.

Wadsley Bridge SRFC at Newbury 1,2,3,4 was Pat Helliwell flying 136 miles doing 1377, 1376, 1375 & 1374.

Gleadless SRHS at Newbury 1st was Andy Murphy & Vardy winning every young bird race since it began up to now having a great young bird season they flew 130 miles doing 1371.

2nd & 3rd was Hobson & Freeman doing 1359 & 1343

4th was D Hague doing 1340.

Oughtbridge SRFC at Newbury 1st, 2nd & 4th was Peter Binkiewicz flying 135 miles his winner a Wildesmersch X Herman Ceusters which is the Brother to his good YND combine Carentan hen his second bird a Lambrecht’s hen bred by Paul Hirst of Elsecar his velocities were two birds together on 1368 then 1337

On the North road route now at Thornbury NRFC at Pontefract taking 1st, 2nd & 4th was Dave Smith flying 154 miles with his Soojens & Gabby Vandenbeale team doing 1310, 1306 & 1286.

LongEaton NRFC at Hexham (2) 1,2,3,4 was Mr & Mrs Brian Guilford flying 144 miles with their Darkness sprint team doing 1325, 1310, 2 x 1309.

Ruddington NRFC at Alnwick 1,2,3,4 was Paul Crooks with his Herman Cuesters team flying 172 miles doing 1294 with three trapping together then 1291.

Hucknall Premier FC at Alnwick 1,2,3,4 was Shaun Pilgrim flying 165 miles with the Lambrecht’s and Syndicate loft birds in the shake up doing 2 x 1280, 1279 & 1278.

Eastwood NRFC at Alnwick 1,2,3,4 was John Parker with his Peter Bobiteli, Geoff Richmond and home created strain birds blended together flying 165 miles doing 1197, 1192,1187 & 1186.

Ollerton NRHS at Alnwick 1st club & 1st Nottingham NR Fed was the Walton Brothers flying 154 miles with a chequer White flight hen doing 1322.

2nd ,3rd & 4th was Riggott & Richardson with three birds together 3x 1321

Blidworth NRFC 1st & 2nd was Wayne Knobbs flying 160 miles with two Grizzle Rowland Jansens doing 1259 & 1254.

Some up and coming events now in 2021 the New North Road Amalgamation will be operating a no commission kept Futurity race from Saint Boswells with all takings paid back out in prize money after transport costs with all sale money of the rings and sale money of the youngsters sold will all go straight back out to prize money with no organisation kept cut on the money raised. Rings are for sale at £5 a Futurity ring with a limited purchase of 10 rings per flying loft all birds will be auctioned off at a wide spread location venues if covid causes a problem the birds will be sold by other means and professional means and ways this will take place we will ensure all birds sell if no auction can take place any person can purchase rings but only persons who fly north road in the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire Leicestershire Northamptonshire and the South West of England Lerwick club north road organisations members and in the newly turned welsh north road organisations can purchase the birds making it fair the birds are going to be raced by north road flyers the race will take place on August Bank Holiday Monday the 30th of 2021.

With a wide spread location of marking points for marking the birds in the areas taking part the birds racing and going to Saint Boswells will only be of Futurity birds on this day and race  We want to generate and pay out as much prize money to as many persons as we can hence keeping back no percentage commission if you would like to purchase any rings and for any additional information please contact Shaun Pilgrim on 07399499225 all sale location dates will be published later the locations have all been booked.

Also Pinxton NRFC will be operating its annual racing pigeon shows alongside some show racer shows these always pay out prize monies and decent prize cards with prize raffles and pigeon raffles these will hopefully be operating following the RPRA and government Covid procedures the dates of the racing pigeon shows as follows matched pairs through the wires 29/11/20 old cocks class1 old hens class 2 through the wires 6/12/20 young cocks class1 young hens class2 through the wires 13/12/20 and likeliest  of flying 500 miles handling class on the 20/12/20.
