The New North Road Amalgamation
Hi everyone, I hope you are safe and well and keeping as happy as you can in these depressing times and now the cold winter has arrived those dark long nights seem to get longer even though it’s slightly getting lighter for longer.
Just a few events held and information to announce on these stair crazy boring nights, firstly I, myself, created a free to enter online show for our members to take part in to occupy some free fun and entertainment to pass the nights through as we cannot hold any shows meetings or get togethers. I have had some kind sponsorship money to create some prize money for the scoring birds in which I will transfer into the prize winners accounts so basically each member could enter two birds for free, only from inside their loft with no internet screen shots of birds or professional photographs allowed just home honest created pictures to upload to the group so all could see the entered birds. Their full name so everyone knew who’s it was as some new members and distance apart not everyone really knew everyone but when the birds were forwarded on to the judge no names were seen available to him, all participants on the group had some fun and banter with strictly no abuse or swearing as some social media accounts and groups occur offending people let’s keep it fun and friendly
So after a time frame open over 5 days to upload your taken photographs it was time for myself to send all the photographs to the judge and introduce the judge to the group with a photograph of him and a little about himself so here we go, I, myself, asked Mr Ian Brown of South Kirby, Wakefield, Yorkshire to be the judge. Ian had a fantastic season in 2020, winning 2 x Yorkshire Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire South Road combine channel Races and 2 X Northern Classic Specialist Club channel wins plus winning a North East RPRA Middle Distance Award and in Ian’s flying career has won and achieved ample awards and achievements especially from over the channel.
Ian Brown
So once Ian had decided his choices from a very good turnout of birds he fired the birds back to myself and their achievements scored, I, myself, did not enter into the show so I then uploaded the birds pictures which were sent back and their position achieved and participants name to the group and the show result.
Now of two pictures entered from one member of any aged cocks this weeks are as follows with the attached pictures for you to see first was;
Richard Oldham & Daughter of Pinxton NRFC winning £12 for free
2nd was phill Horseman of Chesterfield NRFC winning £8,

Reserve was won by Phill Horseman,
Very Highly Recommended was won by Steve Gammon of Hucknall NRFC,
Highly Recommended by Perkins & Raynor of Cotgrave NRFC and finally
Commended by Richard Oldham & Daughter.
So that’s this weeks free night breaker show complete, next week is any age hens with some free sponsorships on offer for some fun. I would like to thank Ian for Judging and to everyone who entered and took part we look forward to the next show.
