ENFIELD CONTINENTAL FLYING CLUB
The yearly AGM of the Inter Counties Fed arrived, with myself and Steve Sheffield attending the meeting at Stevenage and as per usual it was over very quickly, straight after that there was a normal meeting with the race program set beginning on the 11th of April and the race programme for the 2020 season is as follows.

With the Race programme in place for the season the next thing on the agenda was the Clubs AGM at the Cabbage Patch, which took place on February 7th.
The AGM was a bit of a mixed affair as the Club had 4 Resignations put in from members Del Johnson, Chris Vachos who has moved down to Kent, Jamie Turner who is also moving away in the next month or so, also a letter was put in from Jim Courtney who has to pack up the pigeons due to ill health.
The Club also had 2 new Applications to join for the 2020 season and they will be made most welcome as everyone who visits the Cabbage is. The new members are Keith Wint from Wood Green and John Hore from Hoddesdon who has flown a very good pigeon on the North Road from Thurso and Lerwick in the past, but now fancies a new challenge with channel racing being the new target and competing in International racing in the future.
With all of the major organisations now with their race programmes in place and set the Members of the Enfield club could have 33 Channel races this season if they belonged to the BICC, BBC, NFC and the UBI Combine.
As I am no longer a member of the Enfield Club this more than likely will be my last write up for the Club and I have enjoyed being there press officer for the last 5 years as well as being a member for 17 years, its just a shame that I have hardly done any racing due to Court cases lasting over 9 years, which thankfully are now over, and hopefully being in a new house in the next 2 months I am aiming to at least catch some of the Young bird season this year.
Take Care
