Central Scotland 3 bird club young bird race was flown from Whitley Bay on Sunday 9th august 29 members sent 82 birds liberated at 9 am in light wind first and second north west section and first and second open is Robert Hamilton from Cambus the blue cheq cock that was first open not only won the 3 bird race on the Sunday he was first Stirling club 14th fed the day before from Otterburn and also won first club 20th fed from Kelso he is a Massarella Braspenning sprint pigeon second open is a blue cheq hen she was also at Otterburn the previous day and was 2nd club and on the federation result beaten by loft mate this hen has been consistent winning 2nd club 28th fed Ripon beaten by loftmate and 2nd club 14th fed Wakefield again beaten by loft mate this hen is bred down from 4400 a prolific breeder in Robert’s loft and has already bred a 3 bird club winner this pigeon is from the Billy Napper line, all young birds are flown natural. Third North West section third open is Jim Smith Polmont, the dark cheq hen was flying to the perch sire is from John Bosworth Leo van Rijn dam is a daughter of pretty girl & Mr. Ripley McCormack & Schofield (the three amigos).

First and second central section and fifth and seventh open is Steven & Gullane from Uphall. Their first bird a slate hen flown on darkness was bred in the stock loft from birds gifted to them by their good friend bobby Logan from New Cumnock she is a silver shadow Van Loon x Jannsen the second section is a Herman Ceuster gifted to them again from Bobby Logan new Cumnock both birds flew Stobbs Camp and Otterburn before the 3 bird race. Third central section eleventh open is Freddie Jamieson &son East Calder their timer was a blue wf hen raced natural it was at the Almond Valley Fed race the day before, dam is a 05 Koen Minderhoud Vandenabeele that topped the central fed once and the almond valley fed 3 times and has bred winners every year.
Sire is a galaxy lofts pigeon (danty ) which has bred 11 winners since he was purchased. First second and third West Lothian section, thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth open is Sam Graham from Longridge first section is a blue cock bred by premier stud a Herman Ceuster. Second section is a blue cock a syndicate lofts Gaby Vandenabeele x Geoff Kirkland from the stock loft. Third section is a Willy Jacobs from the stock loft the parents were gifted to Sam from Tom Varley from Kent via Joe Murphy’s column in the BHW all have bred nice youngsters all three were on darkness the third section is Mrs. Graham’s favorite and picked by her for this race. Sam would like to say a big thank you to Matt Anderson friend and neighbor for all his help around the loft at the start of the season and all who gave him birds and advice to get started.
