The race from Sleaford on the 12TH of August 3,119 birds were liberated in a Strong South West Wind. Topping the Federation and the Coastal North Section is Neil Rogers of Scarborough on 2083. Topping the Coastal South Section is Kerry & Lisa Mellonby & Stewart Knowles on 2080. Topping the Central Section is Nigel Perry of Hull on 2061. Liberated Separately and Topping the South Section is Keith Atherton on 1876. Well done Neil and to everyone on the result.

Coastal North Section:

Scarborough Social Club. 8 members sent 205 birds with the red card going to Neil Rogers on 2083 with a Premier Hereman x Van der Rhee cock which won the first Sleaford. Second place went to Neil Rogers on 2082 with a Van Tuil x CWL Super 65 hen. Third Place went to Neil Rogers again on 2079 with a full brother from 2nd nest to the winner & nest mate that was 4th second race. Fourth place went to Walt Agar on 2044 with a        

Whitby Premier Club. 5 members sent 182 birds with the red card going to Paul Abbott & Son Darren on 2016 with a self bred off his good friend Eddie Faulkner of Leeds stock which also won first race. Second place went to S Mallinson & Son  Robert on 2015 with a cock on sliding door off his good Friends J. Douglas & Son x Louis Thijs. Third place went to S Mallinson & Son  Robert on 2014 with a self bred Louis Thijs hen. Fourth place went to S Mallinson & Son  Robert on 2014 with a self bred Frans de Coux x Patrick Meutter x Louis Thijs cock. Alan Richardson wins all the pools.

Second place went to Callam Gilson & Grandad Frank Sheader on 2058 with one of their new family of Woodruffe Brothers birds x Louis Thijs. Third & Fourth places went again to Callam Gilson & Frank Sheader on 2057 & 2054 with their new breed of Woodruffe Brothers birds.

Coastal South Section:

Flamborough Homing Society. 8 members sent 246 birds with the red card Second & Fourth places going to Kerry & Lisa Mellonby & Stewart Knowles on 2080, 2079 & 2072 with their self bred Willem de Bruijns, with the second bird having already had a 1st fed on the first race. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hoggard & T. Ellis on 2072 with one bred off their best sprint family of races.    

Bridlington D.F.C. 4 members sent 34 birds with the red card going to Kian & Bradley Wilkinson on 1896 with a Jason Storr of Whitby cock. Second place went to Kian & Bradley Wilkinson on 1894 with one bred from Brian Cheetham of Bishop Auckland which won the first & Second race in the club. Third place went to Oliver & Shaun Wilkinson on 1827. Fourth place went to Riley Wilkinson on 1827 both these two birds are off Ralph Wilkinson of Leeds.  

Withernsea Homing Society. 4 members sent 62 birds with the red card going to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1961 with a G. Dalgleist & son was 2nd last week. Second place went to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1765 with a John Rawson pigeon. Third place went to Trevor Robinson on 1668  with a Van der Wegen hen. Fourth place went to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1352 with one off their French family. 

Central Section:

Beverley & District Club. 9 members sent 222 birds with the red card going to Quite Man Nigel Perry on 2061 with a self bred out of a pair from Paul Woodmansey which have bred him many prize winners.  Second place went to Nigel Perry on 2003 with a Van den Bulk x Phil Bolton Hofken. Third place went to Phil Bolton on 1996 with a Van den Bulk x Painter. Fourth place went to Nigel Perry on 1984 with a Van den Bulk x Herman Ceuster.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 7 members sent 212 birds with the red card and Second places going to Bri Rowson on 1973 & 1965 with a Pair of hens of J. Gerrards  Lourds cock. Third place went to George Rudd on 1925 with a Herman Ceuster hen. Fourth place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1860 with a Vandenabeele cock.

North Hull Club. 10 members sent 180 birds with the red card and Second place going to Graham Howman on 1972 and 1881 with a pair of Leo Van Rijn out of Humberside trophy prize winner. Third place went to Graham Howman on 1872 with a Leo Van Rijn. Fourth place went to Mick Foster on 1830 with a Wayne Brownlee x Soontjen.
