NEW YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE FED NEWS WITH SUE.

This weeks race was from Reed on the 7th of July where there was 2,041 birds liberated in a South Westerly wind. Topping the Federation and the Central Section for the third week and having an excellent season is John Eastburn of Hull on 1776. Topping the Coastal Section is Callum Gilson and Frank Sheader of Bridlington on 1766. Well done to everyone on the result and once again an excellent race recorded.

Central Section:

Ravenser Flying Club. 10 members sent 183 birds with the red card going to John Eastburn on 1776 with his with his 3rd fed winner a Pitbull x Stafford line Humberside Trophy hen. Second place went John Eastburn on 1775 with his Kittel cock bred by Stewart Knowles taking its seventh prize card of the season. Third place went to John Eastburn on 1774 with a yearling hen a granddaughter from the Stafford hen. Fourth place went to John Eastburn on 1774 with another granddaughter from the Stafford hen a previous winner for John.

Beverley & District Club. 6 members sent 103 birds with the red card going to Jon Leskiewicz on 1749 with his top class David Sara Herman Ceusters stock a yearling hen. Second place went to Mick Mallinson on 1743 with a 2yr old cock with a card or two under its belt. Third place went to ever present with a yearling Frank Dixon hen sister to multi winners. Phil Bolton on 1734 Fourth place went again to Jon Leskiewicz on 1725 with a 2yr old direct David Sara hen.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 7 members sent 112 birds with the red card going to Franciosy & Bennett on 1732 with a Vandenabeele which won the last Reed. Second place went to George & Angie Rudd on 1699 with a Herman Ceuster. Third place went to Franciosy & Bennet on 1694 with a Gary Cox pigeon which has had 3 x 1st and 2 x 2nds. Fourth place went to George & Angie Rudd on 1692 with a Herman Ceuster which has had a 1st St Albans.

Kingston Flying Club. 9 members sent 118 birds with the red card going to Mark Taylor on 1764 with a Herman Ceuster x Bulck a previous winner. Second place went to Mark Taylor on 1762 & 1716 with a pair of self bred Gary Cox Hereman Ceusters also previous winners. Fourth place went again to Mark Taylor on 1710 with a self bred Ceuster through Gary Cox Eijerkamp stock also a previous winner.

Hull Millennium Club. 11 members sent 162 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs D Robinson on 1747 with a Jackson & Andrews x Hofkens x Vandenabeele multi prize winning yearling hen also wins pools. Second place went to Mr & Mrs D Robinson on 1720 with a Ben Oakley Sky fall pigeon. Third place went to L. Scarah on 1712 with a Martin Dawson Ceuster has had 1x 1st 2x2nds 3rd fed. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs D Robinson on 1712 with 640 hen last years breeder buyer.

Cottingham Homing Society. 6 members sent 83 birds with the red card going to Mike Cooper on 1756. Second place went to Ian Bennett & Shane Reading on1730. Third place went to A. Stephenson on 1705. Fourth place went to Mike Cooper on 1696. 

North Hull Club. 7 members sent 110 birds with the red card going to Richard Crawford on 1701 with a G. Cox x R. Nicklin multi card winning Ceuster. Second place went to Richard Crawford on 1691 with a G. Cox x R. Mallinson which has had 4 x 1st plus. Third place went to Paul Rhodes on 1691 with a Ceuster on of Combine winner. Fourth place went to Paul Rhodes on 1690 with Olympiad lines Ceuster. 

Hessle Flying Club. 5 members sent 71 birds with the red card going to W. Gibson on 1715. Second place went to S. B. Milburn on 1708. Third and Fourth places went to Peter & Carol Carmichael on 1696 & 1691.

Scunthorpe Foxhills F. Club. 14 members sent 151 birds with the red card going to O’Grady & Jaques on 1705. Second place went to Barrowcliffe & Holmes on 1700. Third place went to Keith Atherton on 1695. Fourth place went to Stacey Simmons on 1678.  

Brigg Flying Club. 7 members sent 84 birds with the red card Second Third and Fourth places all going to Kevin Good on 1725, 1724, 1706 & 1706.   

Barrow Homing Society. 8 members sent 108 birds with the red card going to Eddie Humprey on 1753. Second and Fourth place went to A. Jacklin on 1737 & 1715. Third place went to J. Petch on 1725.  

West Hull Flying Club. 3 members sent 53 birds with the red card and next three places going to Jamie Martindale on 1721, 1719, 1710 & 1699.

Ellis on 1756 with a  Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hoggard & T. Ellis on 1756 with a  Third place went to Ken Gladstone on 1755 Fourth place went to Premier Mill Lofts (Kerry & Lisa) on 1753 

Scarborough Social Club. 6 members sent 103 birds with the red card going to Derek Howard & Paddy Johnson on 1687 with one bred off Mally Warrick of Cayton stock which had a 1st Jubilee and 3rd Sleaford. Second place went to Walt Agar on 1678 with his prize winning Karel Boeckx which had a 2nd Reed. Third Place went to Walt Agar on 1675 with a Sean Morris Karel Boeckx x Dope which had a 4th St Albans. Fourth place went to Derek Howard & Paddy Johnson on 1672 with a Keith Arkless    

Whitby Premier Club. 6 members sent 146 birds with the red card going to S. Mallinson & Son Rob on 1692 with a yearling Van den Bulck cock off good friend David Parker of Clitheroe multi card winner. Second place went to Rob Mallinson on 1691 with a yearling Frans de Coux x Louis Thijs x Patrick de Mutter x Louis Thijs had 2nd Reed 3rd Eastbourne 4th Sleaford. Third place went to Rob Mallinson on 1675 a yearling hen off Martin & Richy Ali. x David & Peter Hughes of Wales was 4th Reed. Fourth place went to Rob Mallinson on 1675 with a yearling Best Kittel x Dirk van den Bulck x Patrick Boeckx hen bred by good friend David Parker of Clitheroe winner of  several minor cards Rob also wins pools.

Wolds Flying Club. 2 members sent 45 birds with the red card going to Callum Gilson & Frank Sheader on 1766 which was 2nd fed Reed. Second place went to Callum Gilson & Frank Sheader on 1765 with a Woodruff x Louis Thijs. Fourth place went to Callum Gilson & Frank Sheader on 1763 Woodruff x Louis Thijs which won Sleaford.

Withernsea Homing Society. 3 members sent 31 birds with the red card and Second place going to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1566 & 1560 with a pair of Ken Anderson birds. Third place went to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1527 with the French x John Rawson bird. Fourth place went to Dean Adamson on 1524 with a Clive Lister bird.
