NEW YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE FED NEWS WITH SUE.

This weeks race was from Eastbourne on the 20th of July there was 1,812 birds liberated in a South West wind. Topping the Federation and the Coastal Section is Premier Mill Lofts (Kerry & Lisa) of Flamborough on 1689 also winning prize money for this years Centenary year of the Federation. Topping the Central Section is Pete Seaton of Hull on 1680 for winning the Section Centenary prize money race. Well done to everyone on the result and once again an excellent race recorded.

Coastal Section:

Flamborough Homing Society. 8 members sent 223 birds with the red card going to Premier Mill Lofts (Kerry & Lisa) on 1689 with a multi scoring 2yr old Willem de Bruijn. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hoggard & Ellis on 1674 with a Herman Ceuster. Third place went to Premier Mill Lofts (Kerry & Lisa) on 1674 with a Clive Lister Gus Janssen. Fourth place went to  Premier Mill Lofts (Kerry & Lisa) on 1674 with a yearling Willem de Bruijn.

Whitby Premier Club. 4 members sent 115 birds with the red card for the 11th time going to S. Mallinson & Son Rob on 1683 with a yearling Frans de Coux  x Louis  Thijs x Patrick de Mutter x Louis Thijs cock was 2nd last two weeks had a 3rd Eastbourne 4th Sleaford. Second place went to Rob Mallinson on 1683 with a consistent yearling Frans de Coux x Louis Thijs x Louis Thijs hen which has had 2 x 1st and a 6th Eastbourne 7th St Albans 4th 6th and 7th Reed & 2 x 2nd as young bird.

Third place went to Rob Mallinson on 1683 with a yearling hen bred by Roberts good Friend David Parker of Clitheroe with a Best Kittle x Dirk van den Bulck x Patrick Boeckx has had 1st St Albans 5th Jubilee Park 4th Sleaford 6th Eastbourne 4th Reed

Fourth place went to Rob Mallinson on 1682 with a 2yr old hen bred by Roberts good friends Timmy & Jamie STS Lofts from there Bolt family and as had 1st & 6th St Albans and 1st 2nd & 5th Reed, 5th Littlehampton 7th Billericay 2nd Chelmsford, 5th  Eastbourne. Rob wins all pools.

Holderness Flying Club. 4 members sent 68 birds with the red card going to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1652 Second Third and Fourth places went to Mr & Mrs Kenny Lister on 1646, 1634 & 1581.

Withernsea Homing Society. 3 members sent 30 birds with the red card Dean Adamson on 1610 with a Clive Lister bird. Second place went to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1596 with a French x Ken Anderson bird. Third and Fourth places to Dean Adamson on 1588 & 1536 all with his family of Clive Lister of York pigeons. 

Scarborough Social Club. 6 members sent 108 birds with the red card going to Derek Howard & Paddy Johnson on 1632 with a self bred out of Keith Arkless stock birds. Second place went to Andy Moon on1610 with a Herman Ceuster out of Ken Skelton stock. Third Place went to Daniel Varlam on 1605. Fourth place went to Derek Howard & Paddy Johnson on 1601 with a Bulk bred out of multi 1st prize winners     

Driffield Homing Society. 4 members sent 46 birds with the red card going to George Atkinson on 1633 with a Vandenabeele cock. Second place went to Gary Ringrose on 1628 with a Frans de Coux x Louis Thijs. Third place went to Gary Ringrose on 1613 out of Rob Mallinson stock. Fourth place went to Gary Ringrose on 1612 with a Louis Thijs x Herman Ceuster. Garys birds all of Robert Mallinson of Whitby stock.

Central Section:

Ravenser Flying Club. 9 members sent 149 birds with the red card going to Pete Seaton on 1680 with his small team won in style and topping the section with a yearling Ally brothers cock that has been in the top twenty fed before this year. Second place went to Graham Rowse on 1668 with a 3yr old Herman Ceuster roundabout hen which has won before. Third place went to John Eastburn on 1666 with a yearling grandson of the J ring multi card winner. Fourth place went to Johns Eastburn on 1655 with a yearling hen which won the Humberside trophy and has had 2 x 1st feds 1 x 2nd fed. and a 3rd fed this year wow very well done John thank you for your honesty over my mistake on the result this week. 

Beverley & District Club. 7 members sent 152 birds with the red card going to Philip Bolton on 1664 with a 2yr old Frank Dixon hen which has now had 4 x 1st.  Second place went to Mick Mallinson on 1656 with a 2yr old cock which was badly ripped up after a Peregrine attach at the beginning of the season. Third place went to Philip Bolton on 1643 with a yearling Van den Bulck hen which has scored before. Fourth place went to Jon Leskiewicz on 1642 with a 2yr old Van den Bulck cock that has won before.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 7 members sent 105 birds with the red card going to Bob Smith on 1644 with a 2yr old Herman Ceuster off R & T Nicklin the Birthday Pan 2nd St Albans & 2nd Eastbourne. Second place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1643 with a yearling Gary Cox bird which has had 3 x 1st 3 x 2nd old birds. Third place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1643 with a yearling Herman Ceuster x Van den Bulk. Fourth place went to Bob Smith on 1628 with a yearling Carrera Van den Bulk.

Kingston Flying Club. 6 members sent 90 birds with the red card going to Mark Taylor on 1645 with a self bred Bulck x Ceuster having had 2 x 1st this year. Second place went to Ali Rahman on 1643 Lambrecht bred by Alan Stone also a previous winner Third place went to Mark Taylor on 1640 with a Bulk x Ceuster by Wayne Brownlee. Fourth place went again to Mark Taylor on 1637 with a Bulck gift bird off Mick Mallinson 

North Hull Club. 6 members sent 80 birds with the red card going to Richard Crawford on 1657 with a Shane Reading x Gary Cox x Barry Kipling Ceuster which has won Eastbourne before. Second place went to Paul Rhodes on 1633 with a self bred Olympiad stock as had 4 x 2nds.Third place went to Paul Rhodes on 1626 with a self bred Shane Reading stock. Fourth place went to Richard Crawford on 1615 with a Shane Reading x Gary Cox Ceuster,  

Hull Millennium Club. 10 members sent 156 birds with the red card Second and Third places going to Alan Stone & Son on 1656 1656 & 1646. Fourth place went to K & H Green on 1636.

Cottingham Homing Society. 6 members sent 62 birds with the red card going to A. Stephenson on 1628. Second place went to Ian Bennett and Shane Reading on 1612. Third and Fourth places went to K. Hayward on 1602 & 1598 

Hessle Flying Club. 4 members sent 69 birds with the red card and Second places going to S & M Horne & Plews on 1620 & 1597. Third place went to W. Gibson on 1592. Fourth place went to P & C Carmichael on 1581

West Hull Flying Club. 4 members sent 54 birds with the red card Second and Third  places going to Jamie Martindale on 1645, 1642 & 1622. Fourth place went to George Hall on 1611.
