NEW YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE FED NEWS WITH SUE.
This week is the first race of the season from Sleaford on the 12th of April where there was 3,556 birds liberated in a Light South East wind. Topping the Federation and Section A is Daniel Varlam on 1960. Topping Section B is P. Seaton on1867. Topping Section C is Mark Taylor on 1871. Topping Section D is D. Robinson on 1878. Topping Section E is J. Ashenden on 1925. Well done to everyone on the result and once again an excellent race recorded.

Scarborough Social Club. 8 members sent 177 birds with the red card going to Daniel Varlam on 1960 with a Hereman Ceuster off Cannibal lines. Second place went to Dave Pickering on 1847 with a gift bird off Tony Robson. Third place went to Neil Rogers on 1839 with a Super 65 off Wildwind off C.W.L. Fourth place went to Neil Rogers on 1839 with a Van Panhuis.
Whitby Premier Club. 11 members sent 331 birds with the red card going to Robert Mallinson on 1907 with a 3yr old cock bred from good friend Francois Leys of Itegem. Second place went to Stephen Waller on 1905 with a yearling roundabout Van den Bulck cock bought off Eddie Faulkner of Leeds Third place went to Robert Mallinson on 1900 with a 2yr old David & Peter Hughes from Wales x STS lofts Timmy & Jamie of Kings Lynn. Holderness Flying Club. 8 members sent 175 birds with the red card going to Steve Turley on 1792 .Second place went to Steve Syrertt on 1790. Third and Fourth place went to Kenny Lister on 1698 & 1694.
Ravenser Flying Club. 12 members sent 295 birds with the red card going P. Seaton on 1867 with a 2yr old cock which won Eastbourne last year. 2nd place went to J Eastburn on 1826 with another consistent Stewart Knowles cock which last year beat on trap twice for 1st fed. Third place went to D McCracken on 1824 with a Marc Williamson 3yr old cock. 4th place went to Graham Rowse on 1818 with a Dave Beadle yearling had a 1st card last year.

Second place went to Nigel Perry on 1804 with a two year old Van den Bulck x Lambrecht cock. Fourth place went Tony Walker with a yearling Dick Cawthorne cock on 1803.
Driffield Homing Society. 4 members sent 49 birds with G & G Ringrose taking the first four places with S Mallinson &Son pigeons on 1857, 1856, 1826 & 1824 the first is a Lambrecht x Louis Thijs, 2 Louis Thijs, 3 Frans de Coux x Louis Thijs, 4th Robert Mallinson bird.
North Hull Club. 10 members sent 168 birds with the red card going to T. Smith on 1834 with a Mark Trinder Van Den Builk. Second place went to T. Smith on 1831 with a Shane Reading Sherburn Lofts. Second place went to S B Milburn on 1848 with a Ron Hilcoat Vandenabeele. Third place went to J & G Goodwin on 1842 with a Sablon x Herman Ceuster. Fourth place went to W. Gibson on 1836.
Hull Millennium Club. 11 members sent 338 birds with the red card going to D. Robinson on 1878 with a Hofken x Vandenabeele hen has won before. Second place went to M. Muhammed on 1852 with a De Klak Janssen hen from Lincoln. Third place went to D Robinson on 1839 with a 2yr old Jayn Mitchell hen from Lincoln, Fourth place went to K S Marritt on 1824 with a Double Section winner broken off from friend Jon Leskiewicks.

Brigg Flying Club. 10 members sent 155 birds with the red card & Second place going Kevin Good on 1902 & 1899 with a pair of Willy Thas x Eric Ceulemans nest mates. Third place went to Kevin Good on 1889 with a Staff Van Reet hen. Fourth place went again to Kevin Good on 1888 with a gift bird off Dave Davies.
