SCARBOROUGH SOCIAL CLUB HELD THEIR ANNUAL PRESENTATION NIGHT

AT

THE NEWLANDS HOTEL

 

 

The members would like to start off by thanking the clubs hosts for the evening Joe & Joanne Hakings of the Newlands Hotel for providing our excellent club headquarter

and meal for the evening with the presentation being supported with 30 members’ family and friends attending.

 

The prize presentation is based on a nominated points system and was topped once again by Terry & Paul Douthwaite with 102 old bird points and 62 young bird points,

a total of 164 points, also winning the Combine points cup and the John Allen memorial Trophy.

They also won 11 x 1sts 14 x 2nds 14 x 3rds 12 x 4ths 7 x 5ths and 13 x 6ths and winning 10 sponsors.

Second was Pete Thorpe with a total of 86 Old bird points also winning 1 x 1st 1 x 2nd 4 x 3rd  2 x 4th

6 x 5th and 2 x 6th and 4 sponsors.

Third Place went to Ken & Sue Skelton with 20 Old bird points and 54 young bird points with a total of 74 points

and 1 sponsor also winning 6 x 1sts 8 x 2nds 4 x 3rd 4 x 4th 5 x 5th and 2 x 6th.

Fourth place went to Derek Howard and Paddy Johnson with 60 Old bird points and 12 young bird points

with a total of 72 points and also winning 3 x 1st 1 x 3rds 3 x 4th 1 x 5th and 3 x 6th and 5 sponsors

plus picking up the pigeon of the year trophy.

Taking Fifth place was Allen Dean Ingle & Nigel with 13 Old bird points and 58 young bird points, a total of 71 points

and 3 sponsors. Winning 2 x 1st 2 x 2nds 1 x 3rd 2 x 4th 5 x 5th 3 x 6th and

picking up the George Ingle Memorial Trophy for the longest Channel race.

Sixth place went to Keith Todd with 34 Old bird points and 17 young bird points and 2 sponsors.

Winning 3 x 1sts 1 x 3rd 1 x 4th 1 x 5th 2 x 6th.

Seventh place went to Andy Moon with 8 old bird points and 7 young bird points

with a total of 15 points and winning 4th Maidstone.

Eighth place went to Martin Wood with 12 Old bird points and winning 1 x 2nd 2 x 4th.

Ninth place went to Dave Pickering with 1 old bird point.

Tenth place went to Willie Garnett. Eleventh place went to Neil Rogers.

 

The club then finished off with an excellent raffle with everyone winning one or more prizes which made £80.
