HUNMANBY HOMING SOCIETY INVITATION CLUB

Held their prize presentation at the club headquarters the White Swan with all the club members and guest attended. Now onto to the Prize winners:-

Highest prize winner Tony Robson who this year dominated the prizes taking 12 x 1sts 11 x 2nd 8 x 3rd 9x 4th 8 x 5th and 10 x 6th with 124 points also winning the Inland Average old birds, Combined points, 2nd Channel, Longest old bird Inland, Young bird nom cup, Ladies cup, Robson memorial and Longest young bird cup.

Second place went to John & Les Hill with 5 x 1st, 5 x 2nds 8 x 3rd, 5 x 4th, 6 x 5th   also winning 58 points and the Vaux Cup the Young Bird Average and the K & O Wareing cup.

Third place went to Jason & Arthur Barmby with 3 x 1sts, 4 x 2nds, 4 x 3rds, 2 x 4ths, 2 x 5ths, 4 x 6ths and 40 points also winning Butlins Clup, Longest channel race, Colling 5th Channel race, Channel Average, Sid Day Cup and Madge Hill cup.

Fourth place went to John Robson with 2 x 1sts, 3 x 2nds, 2 x 3rds, 2 x 4ths, 4 x 5th and 4 x 6th with 31 points also winning the 1st Channel race cup.

Fifth place went to Bob Bedford with 1 x 1st, 1 x 2nd, 2 x 3rd, 5 x 4th, 2 x 5th 2 x 6th with 20 points.

Sixth place went to D. W. Craske with 1 x 1st, 1 x 3rd, 1 x 4th, 1 x 5th, 3 x 6ths with 11 points.

Seventh place went to D. Tindall with a 3rd place.

Tony Robson won the Isabel Coates Best Old Bird and the Skelton Oil best Young Bird Cup.

The members would like to thank their Host the Landlord of the White Swan for their excellent buffet.
