CHELMSFORD - AUGUST 2014
The Combine raced from Chelmsford on the 30th of August 2014, liberated in another strong Westerly wind sending them straight to the east coast. Topping the Combine and the South Section is Graham Sparkes of Patrington on 1488. Topping the North Section is John & Les Hill of Hunmanby on 1407. Topping the Central Section is Gary Cox of Hull on 1396. Topping the West Section is Mick Burdett of Norton on 1292. Well done to everyone.
Coastal South Section
Patrington Haven Leisure Club. 7 members sent 240 birds with the red card going to G. H. Sparkes on 1488 with a Premier Stud Albert Derwa. Second place went to R. Wright on 1487 with a Van Loon x Van der Merwe. Third place went to G. H. Sparkes on 1487 with a Premier Stud Rauwe Sablon. Fourth place went to Reg Wright on 1482 with a Van Loon x Maris.
Withernsea Homing Society. 5 members sent 50 birds with the red card going to Dave Beadle on 1434 with a Premier Stud Gaston Van de Wouwer which topped the Combine last week and won the club nom this week. Second place went to Dave Beadle on 1430 with a Premier Stud Gaston Van de Wouwer Third place went to Dave Beadle on 1428 with a Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster. Fourth place went to Dave Beadle on 1417 with a Premier Stud Albert Derwa.
