Saturday September 14th and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation were at Hullavington for their final race of the 2019 season. The pigeons were liberated at 09-15 in a light south east wind. In Holbrook 4 members sent 68 birds and D & A Swift finished their season of in fine style making a clean sweep with a blue cock taking the red card doing 1692.2 followed by a blue hen doing 1692.0. Taking third was a b/w/f cock doing 1691.7 followed by a pied cock doing 1691.5 taking fourth.

In Osmaston Park Homing Society Dave Waddington took the top two positions with two cheq cocks doing 1655.4 & 1653. In third & fourth was Mick Stone with a blue cock doing 1643.4 and a blue cock doing 1642.6.

In Etwall & District Flying Club Steve Billings made it a podium finish taking the first three positions with a blue w/f hen taking the red card doing 1598.3 followed by two blue hens doing 1588.3 & 1568.6. In fourth was A. Peach & Son with a cheq w/f cock doing 1564.5.
