Saturday August 18th and the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Windrush where 1359 birds were liberated at 12-20 in a west south west wind.Taking the first six places were Selston members with S & K Purdy taking the top two spots with two cheq cocks  doing 1681.5 & 1678.2.In third was R & M Duffield with a dk/pied cock doing 1672.2.M H Jepson took fourth & fifth with a cheq cock doing 1671.2 and a blue hen doing 1670.3.In sixth was K.Greaves doing 1664.8.Taking the next three positions were Poolsbrook Members S Tongue & Orme with a b/pied cock doing 1650.6 a blue cock doing 1649.6 and a blue hen doing 1649.3 to take 7th,8th & 9th followed by D.Poole Railway Inn North doing 1642.9 to take 10th.
