The Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Marlborough and got theirs away at 10-15 in a west south west wind.

In Derby Premier making a clean sweep was Paul & Lynda Todd. Their winner was a yearling Cheq pied hen doing 1452 which was bred by Steve Foster followed by a three year old Cheq hen doing 1431 then a yearling blue cock doing 1429 with a three year old mealy hen doing 1384 taking fourth.

In Kilburn Welfare Keith Foulkes takes the red card with a dark yearling hen doing 1370 followed by a yearling blue cock doing 1352 to take third. In second with a yearling blue cock doing 1363 was Keith Cresswell with Parkin & Hall in fourth with a yearling blue cock doing 1309.

Saturday June 2nd and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation got their pigeons away at Kingsdown at 10-45 in a south west wind.

In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club F & T Salt Bros & Son take first & third positions with two blue Sootjen cocks doing 1573 & 1550 with Roger & Mark Duffield in second with a Herman Ceuster Cheq cock doing 1565.In fourth was Steve Treece doing 1547 with a pigeon of the late Larry Gaunt.

In Osmaston Park Homing Society leading the way into Derby and taking the red card with a two year old dk/ch cock doing 1563 was Dave Waddington. Second position went to Glew & O?Donnell with a three year old Cheq cock doing 1555 followed by Mick Willis in third with a four year old Cheq cock doing 1548 then Mick Stone in fourth with a three year old dk/Cheq cock doing 1547.

In the Brackens South Road Flying Club Jason & Karen Phillips took the first three positions with two yearling b/pied hens taking the first two positions doing 1557 & 1550 followed by a blue hen doing 1472 in third. In fourth with a blue hen doing 1419 was Brailsford & Doyle.

In Etwall & District Flying Club A. Peach & Son take the red card with a yearling blue hen doing 1517 followed by Dave Williams & Son in second & fourth with a two year old blue pied cock doing 1495 and a three year old blue pied cock doing 1490.In third position was Alan & Liz Houldsworth with a four year old blue cock doing 1494.

Etwall & District Flying Club member Neil Crofts who along with his wife Georgina who own Hackwood Farm shop bought one of their home made pork pies in for the members to sample.
