Mavis Williamson of Bridington.

I was very saddened after receiving a phone call from my good friend, John Williamson today, telling me his lovely wife, Mavis, had passed away. She was such a wonderful friendly lady, who was always laughing and joking. We have sent jokes to one another on the email for many years. John was half of the outstanding Bolton & Williamson pigeon partnership and our Mavis loved the pigeons. This bad news is devastating, and she will be greatly missed. She passed away last week in hospital, at the age of 82, after a very short illness. John and Mavis were married for 61 wonderful years. Our sincere condolences from Betty and me to the John and the Williamson family. Our Mavis! RIP.
