TYPHOON IN CENTRAL PHILIPPINES

Following the devastating Typhoon in the central Philippines last year, the fancy have rallied round to raise charity funds by auctioning a few select birds from willing fanciers. The call for support in the charity was overwhelming that only a few limited numbers of select birds were sent to the Far East for auctioning. The charity auction was facilitated by the Philippine Homing Association based in Manila, Philippines and the recipient charity organisation is the Jaycees Club International Manila. The charity made approximately £4,054. On behalf of the PHA and the small group of Filipino-British fanciers, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the people who have supported this cause. Also, special thanks to Warren Foster of Bluewater Lofts UK for facilitating the importation of birds.
