Lanarkshire Social Circle Club - Season 2022 Gold Cup winning loft of Eadie & Kelly Bellside nr Newmains, Lanarkshire, Scotland
The most prestigious of trophies was won in season 2022 by the multi successful loft of Eadie & Kelly of Bellside, Lanarkshire.
It’s an extremely difficult trophy to win because your limited to a four bird nomination over the most difficult of distance SNFC races.
Many a year it’s not won as these races can be the most unpredictable and challenging.
Anniversary Girl minutes after winning SNFC
Andy has always been up with the best performance lofts in Lanarkshire for more years than I can remember
He has been riding the crest of a wave over the last two seasons in the SNFC and is easily up there with the best in the country with his highly talented racing pigeons.
It’s always a great pleasure to highlight those that are the best at their trade.

Every win gives me enjoyment but there is no better feeling in timing from SNFC.
11 Lanarkshire as a federation
Has its issues with the main concern being the fanciers with simply no vision or acumen to move forward and work as a team.
12 Family and friends support
Amazing without them it just wouldn’t be the same .
13 What are your ambitions
Before I call it a day to win The SNFC combined averages
14 Managing your team for federation and National racing
All pigeons race to 220 miles and re- pair for the particular races .
15 Future of sport
Sadly it’s on a downward spiral with the fancier being the common denominator .
16 Any thoughts on how we progress as a sport
Work together apply Great People Great service ethos and remove the 5% trouble makers who everyone knows apart from themselves .
Basically it’s band aid on knife-edge that can’t be sorted overnight and it needs structured correctly with the right people in place .
Pigeon racing as we know it almost over and we do not appear to have the necessary culture to deal with the problem .

Unfortunately the Lanarkshire Social Circle is having a season off for 2023 due to not securing a club secretary, hopefully this isn't the end for one of Scotland's prestigious clubs.
