& Guest Speaker Night

Club members and friends got together in the Avonbridge Hotel,Hamilton for our annual young bird exchange.

Main speaker for the night was Dave Jamieson from East Calder near Edinburgh.Dave specialising in the Scottish National Races and especially the extreme distance race which is 600 miles back Scotland from France. Dave has a great record at this distance winning many top Open positions over the last few years and is up there with the best.

As usual we sat down for a lovely three course meal which everyone appeared to enjoy going by the empty plates.

The clubs top table of President Ronnie Reid and Secretary Dave McCaig thereafter presented this years top race winners with their colour photos and draw this years exchange.

Onto the question and answer session for Dave who spoke about some unique management systems and had everyone asking plenty of questions.
I thought Dave was excellent and open in his answers and I personally took some new ideas away for this season.
I would list the questions and answers but why ,you should have been there.

The club committee would like to thank Dave for his time and all who took the time to attend the night.
