Club secretary Andy Frame sent me the clubs All winners Open show results. Newmains is a top club with a fantastic show series on a Monday night.

It’s always excellent competition and also a good healthy banter among the fanciers.

This year’s judges were John Quinn of Wishaw and John Frood of Lanark, well done to both who took the time to attend and provide excellent judging.

The winner of Best in Show was Ian Lindsay of Lindsay & Henderson of Newmains FC with a cracking Dark check cock that was Ian's timer from SNFC Ypres 450 miles this year. 

The committee and all who attended would like to thank Wendy Whiteford for her dedication.
