Ingleton is a village and civil parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire, England. The village is 19 miles (30 km) from Kendal and 17 miles (28 km) from Lancaster on the western side of the Pennines. It’s around the 130 miles back into Central Scotland. The convoy of over 2,000 birds were liberated in a light North West wind at 09.30am and a good steady race was on the cards. Well done to S Selfridge, Dalzell club, Motherwell Dist on topping the federation this week with a velocity into the 1200s, a good racing velocity.
