NEWS UPDATE - MARCH 29TH 2013

Transporters Open Day Saturday 6th April 11.00 - 13.00

Everything has gone to schedule and the Geraldy vehicles and trailers have now arrived back in Scotland from Germany. The open day for the unveiling of new transporters will be Saturday 6th April at the premises of Uddingston pigeon club, Burnhead Street, Viewpark. Fanciers wishing to view the new transporters can come along between 11.00 13.00; light refreshments will be available for all.

Sale Sunday 7th April, viewing 11.30 sale 13.00

On offer will be top quality pairs of young birds from Lanarkshires finest fanciers, also from friends of the federation throughout Scotland.

Dam “Camila” Bred by Fenland stud from the “The Classic cock” and “ Miss Money Penny”. YB (2) Blue Pied hen SU13L 12311, sire “Blue Magic” and he in turn is a direct son of “The Merlin Pair” when paired to “Bluestar Girl” the best direct Van Dyck hen we own, she is dam and grand dam of 1st Fed winners and dam to “The Blue Slash Cock” this year’s S.H.U. 300 mile award winner.

Training Monday 8th April

Training will start weather permitted on Monday 8th April, pick up points are to be Blantyre, Burnbank, Larkhall, Uddingston with one or two others to be confirmed. Details regarding training, including postponements, pick up times and release sites can be accessed by using the new website www.lrpf.co.uk or by signing up to twitter.com/lanarkshirefed where Lanarkshire fanciers will be kept informed of all training information required.
