Demolition man this weeks 1st sect,1st Open 1st yearling derby as well as Airdrie & Lanarkshire Social circle clubs

Eye of Demolition man
The winning pigeon named Demolition man was timed after 4hrs 16 minutes along with two other loft mates on the same minute.
Demolition man is turning out to be a new superstar of the loft, thats 1st Yearling Derby 2020 ,1st Federation 4,225 birds & 2nd Federation 5,697.He was pooled to the max, winning "all pools" at club and Open level.
The partnerships record at the Yearling derby event is simple outstanding wining this competition in years 2013,2016,2019,2020.
The winner is a yearling blue cock from the Stefaan Lambrecht lines.
Well done to the partnership of Wullie and Paul, two of Scotland and Europe's finest fanciers!
The race itself was a very tough affair with big gaps on the birds returns and many, many birds not homing. The usual thoughts are moving towards the raptors attacking the birds on route.Good pigeons are missing and this is always hard to swallow. Its hardly 500 miles and most experience birds should be home, but they haven't arrived.
It wasn't the fact the pigeons weren't fit as they had a tester the week before that put them in good race order. The proof of the pudding will be the significant drop in birdage for next weeks race entry.
Well I have to report on the good the bad and the ugly! Can only hope we get better this week.
