Congratulations to Robert Clark on his appointment as Junior Vice President & Trainee Race Controller to Dave Young.
Jim Cullen has vacated the Senior Vice President role and has taken the role of Transport co ordinator.
Tom Corrie jnr has been appointed Senior Vice President.
President and Secretary remain as Dave McCaig & Jim Cameron .
The members would like to thank Jim Cullen for his dedicated service as Senior Vice President and we are sure he will manage the transport co ordinators role with the same vigour.
There was also the appointment of John Leggate as social convener.
A finance committee was elected to meet regularly next year.
No changes to membership ,birdage or basket costs for 2018

This will take place in the Tannochside Olde Club,Edinburgh Road ,Tannochside
Buffet ,Guest Rab Gilmour . £5 per ticket.
Social club prices are always conducive for a good night !

Hi Tom, we have just finished our series of open shows. The eyesign class was won by Willie Gilchrist A,llan Selfridge and Son had an excellent show season culminating in taking best in show and best opposite sex in the All winners class. The partnership also won three bags of feeding kindly donated by Jim Hughes , Glenmavis plus the BIS and BOS plaques sponsored by David Penman.

Dalzell Presentation & Guest Panel night will be held in the Motherwell Miners Club,Motherwell ML1 3HD on Friday 2nd February 2018 -1830 for 1845hrs
Panel of guests are John Bosworth,John Hood,John Duthie,Tom McLeod .
The cost is £13 which includes three course meal tea or coffee.

Well done to all that worked to make a excellent Scottish Homing Union Show.Held in the Royal Burgh of Lanark on 9th December .
With birdage up to nearly 900, this show is a great day out for the pigeon fanciers .With low entry cost of £3 and fantastic facilities there was an excellent turn out for everyone to meet and have a look around the facilities.
