I intended only to race YB's again this year, see in gallery last years YB results.
But I did keep a few hens back, just in case I had the time and wanted a little sport in OB racing, however, this virus stuff looks like it's put pay to that !! So I have decided to let go the hens I was going to race, so the fancy will have the chance to breed out of them this year. Many are last years babies (all have raced and some scored well - EVERY one of them flown the channel 258 miles) and are virgin stock and ready to pair - grab yourself a spring bargain ....
No.3 - Cheq Hen "63 Hen" GB 19 Z 56363
(Nest-mate sister scored 2nd Club, 2nd Fed, beaten by loft-mate by 2 seconds, when I had 4 birds drop together)
She will come with basic pedigree, transfer and glossy photo
"Brian" GB 17 P 50647
Bred by B&S Stone, Belper, winner of many 1st Sections in National racing
Won over £10,000 in prizes and breeder / buyers in 2018
Brothers and sister to this cock have been very good channel pigeons
"Brenda" GB 13 A 23975
Bred by J & D Potts, Belper, winners of 1st Open NMCC Saintes 2018
Purchased at the clearance sale following John's untimely passing
She is dam of winners for the partnership, first year breeding in 2019 in my loft
David tells me this hen has the Syndicate Loft "Drum" bloodlines in her (no pedigree)
I bred 4 YB's from "Brian" & "Brenda", my 'Belper Pair' and all four raced through and ALL flew Carentan, 258 miles - not bad, eh?
Beautiful young virgin hen - in immaculate condition and ready to pair
