TOP distance bloodlines

Before Steve’s passing, this partnership won 1st Open

NMCC Niort in 2017 with “Bat out of Hell”, he romped

home to victory at a mere 468 miles … since then Tony

has had some memorable days, clocking from Barcelona,

some 834 / 816 miles back to ‘home’ amongst the

rambling hills of Crich in North Derbyshire

This kit of young birds are bred around the following

super-star’s of the distance world  :

“Bat out of Hell” (1st Open NMCC Niort)

“Barcelona 97” this game hen, bred and raced by the

partnership was 2nd BBC Barcelona in 2020, flying

834 miles; “Steve’s Delight” - in 2022, this 4 year old

cock was 1st Sect 9th Open BBC, 816 miles, in 2023 he returned

from Barcelona damaged. Six of these young birds

are g.children of "Steve's Delight", this game cock bird is

bred from a direct son of Alwyn Hill’s “Wingdown” and the

dam is a direct Piet De Vogel hen bred in 2016 from his marathon

pigeons based on “Jounge Stayer”;  The young birds also contain

the bloodlines from Matt Rakes “Golden Cock” and the super

long-distance pigeons of Van Geel’s “Vlekje” (Jan Aarden’s)

through the blood of Steve’s old distance pigeons and finally a

couple of YB’s through “Little Gem” 1^st Open NFC Tarbes
