Description
Two
years ago, with channel racing in a state of flux, I was hopeful that one of
the national or classic organisations would take up the mantle of a distance
north road programme and I went about purchasing a small number of select
distance lines to take on that challenge. Unfortunately that has not been the
case and with no access locally to racing north above 400 miles sadly I have a
number of stock birds going to waste, so all are now being offered for sale.
These would not be for sale had circumstances been different.
In the short time I have had them some are already responsible for prize winners at middle distances, so I am confident that that, in the right hands, they will/are capable of breeding winners at the longer distances.
Here we have a direct C & C Cooper hen, full sister to Farm Ivy 1st BICC, 3rd Int’l, 1st Int’l hens. Super hen with outstanding lines, as you would expect. Rarely will you see birds bred this way offered for sale.
In the 2 years I have had her she is gdam to prize
winners for me including a later bred 2022 cock that won 5th club 50th Fed
Wetherby 579b and 3rd club (bblm’s) 12th Fed 1,063b Hexham 288 miles and was
18th overall in joint lib of 3 feds 1,697 b and also a YB club winner.
This hen
comes with her original pedigree.
