Here at the Hollies, in Shropshire, I  now house an extended family of pure Jim Emerton strain stock pigeons, and racers, acquired in the last three years, directly through my friend and racing partner Jim Emerton, and his friends. At stock are over 50 pigeons all direct from Barcelona raced parents or grandparents. Just one example- 'Persistent' , a great hen, flew it 5 times, 3 times in the clock and achieved decent positions! I have her son and daughter here , amongst many other similarly bred pigeons. 

Lots  of information about the Emerton family of pigeons over the last 45+ years, and their breeding on google plus YouTube. 

They've all stood the test of time,  of being reared and raced specifically for Barcelona . Real tough distance/ marathon strain of clever pigeons. 

They are all quality bred and weaned , would make ideal racers or stock pigeons,  to breed yourself a family capable from the start, or even try cross breeding with your own strain.
