We've never been pigeon fliers to sell our birds with not wanting to weaken our breeding lines, we've decided to reduce some of our stock, these are pigeons that have our best bloodlines of our birds and have bred well or they wouldn't be in our loft, we want others to hopefully share in our success and test our birds, the only reason we need to cut down on pigeons is with my father having pigeons since 1952 as a 8 year old boy and now finding it harder with age to keep a lot of birds even with my help.

Maybe to some our name J Turnell & Son is unknown, but we've had many successful results and articles in the RP, The British Homing World and Squills also on PIPA, but in the London area we've been very consistent in our North London Federation and London North Road Combines over the years, with it either just being my father John flying on his own or with me helping him, we've always placing in high or respectful positions with our pigeons, especially recently in the last few years since the end of 2019 to put all my energy into the birds to help my father, so with having more time with the birds which has benefited with our birds performances in recent years, we're very humble in our success with the work we've put into our pigeons and what top performances we scored with them in racing is our reward for the work and money we put into them.

Our pigeons are a mixture with some being an old family of pigeons, but we do have some strains we haven't crossed in with them being Heremans-Ceusters and flor van loock, but we have crossed our Janssen, Busschaert, Soontjen, Romain Legiest and Kipp's over the years pairing together birds that have successfully won or have scored well to make them what they're today, winning 10 (LNRC) London North Road Combines and 3 (TV) North Thames Valley North Road Combines, we’ve won the Thomas Long Trophy 3 years on the trot for the best combined velocity over the 3 longest race’s in the London North Road Combine, also receiving 5 London region awards over a two year period 2021 & 2022, we’ve had many more positions in combines over the years in all positions.

On club and fed level in recent years some info 2021, 2022 & 2023 seasons combined in our Cheshunt Flying club we’ve won 53x1st also in them 3 years we won 29x1st in our North London Federation.

If you put the work into your birds and know what to do with racing them, then I'm sure any of our bird's will be beneficial to your loft as a new bloodline to help with your success in racing short or long.

A basic pedigree is with pigeon which will be sold with the pigeon along with a transfer form.

As you know the winning bid will have to pay and arrange their own carriage on top of the winning bid, but if local you're welcome to collect.
