D. Nesbitt & Sons take 1st fed

out of Salisbury.

Saturday May 14th saw 87 members from 10 clubs enter 1658 birds for the first visit to Salisbury of this season.

On another glorious day, blue skies; light cloud and plenty of sunshine, Alys cut the strings at 08:35 in a light S.W. wind and the leading birds fairly romped home reaching speeds of 55mph; with good returns.

Congratulations to D. Nesbitt & Sons of Hill Ridware on gaining 1st fed on 1639. Mark timed in a yearling cheq hen, a granddaughter of “Isla” his champion Leo Hereman hen. A full sister to this yearling hen won the Tividale breeder buyer scooping over £4000 and she had also topped the fed. Well done Mark.

The nestmate to this CWF cock topped the fed last year as a yb.
