NEW YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE FED NEWS WITH SUE.

This week the race from Jubilee Park on the 3rd of September there was 2,188 birds liberated in a South East wind. Topping the Federation and the Central Section is Alan Stone & Son Dave of Hull on 1715 also winning the Katie Cox sponsorship. Topping the North Section is S. Mallinson & Son of Whitby on 1697. Topping the South Section is Paul & Helen Johnson of Hedon on 1598.  Well done Alan & Dave Stone, the federation sends their condolences to you and all the Family at this sad time for you. Well done to everyone on the result. Condolences also go to the Family of Jason Whincup for their tragic loss.

Central Section:

Hull Millennium Club. 7 members sent 135 birds with the red card going to Alan Stone & Son Dave on 1715 with a self bred Soontjen. Second place went to J. Hopper & Son on 1694 with a Chris Vasey x Belgium hen. Third & Fourth places also went to J. Hopper & Son on 1694 & 1692 with a self bred pair off Chris Vasey stock. The members of the club are so sorry for the sad loss of Pam, Alans wife & Dave’s mum and we all send our condolences to the family. 

Beverley & District Club. 8 members sent 149 birds with the red card and the next 4 places going to Tim & Louie Smith on 1704, 1700, 1690 & 1689 all with their well schooled team of mainly Van Den Bulk & Kittel birds they also won the pools this is their first win in the club and a good achievement 14 year old Louie was absolutely buzzing when head clock man Tony Robinson read out the result a big well done from all the members.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 12 members sent 379 birds with the red card going to Phil Irving on 1697 with a David Sara of Cornwall Herman Ceuster. Second place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1697 with a Hardy Kruger. Third & Fourth places went to Ronnie & Tracy Nicklin on 1690 & 1690 with a pair of Bulk birds.

Kingston Flying Club. 4 members sent 70 birds with the red card going to Mark Taylor on 1692 with a Wayne Brownlee Herman Ceuster. Second place went to Mark Taylor on 1654 with a Shane Reading Herman Ceuster. Third place went to A. Cook on 1644 with a Darren May Ceuster blood. Fourth place went to Mark Taylor on 1625 with a previous winning Herman Ceuster..

Buckingham F. Club. 7 members sent 139 birds with the red card and having a cracking season is Mr & Mrs Paul Jacobs on 1635 with a Lambrecht that was 2nd last week. Second Third and Fourth places all going to Mr & Mrs Paul Jacobs on 1621, 1607 & 1588 all with his Hereman Ceusters.   

Cottingham Homing Society. 7 members sent 135 birds with the red card again going to Andy Stephenson on 1650 with a newly bought Van den Bulk. Second place went to Derek Moonsamy with a Liam & Paul of Ireland black Girt. Third place went to Ollett & Daniels with a Geerinkx x Bulk. Fourth place went to Ollett & Daniels with a Busschaert x Labrecht.  

Driffield Homing Society. 3 members sent 68 birds with the red card going to G. & G Ringrose on 1643 with a Gert Haylem x Vic Badts. Second place went to G & G Ringrose on 1640 with a Franz Yanis x Louis Thijs. Third place went to G & G Ringrose on 1619 with a Herman Ceuster x Frans De Coux. All gift birds off Rob Mallinson. Fourth place went to G & G Ringrose on 1618 with a self bred R. Mallinson x P. Woodmansey.

Ravenser Flying Club. 10 members sent 275 birds with the red card going to John Eastburn on 1681 with a grandson of the Stafford hen. Second place went to John Eastburn on 1680 with one bred off his Humberside Trophy winner. Third place went to Graham Rowse on 1669 with a Grandaughter of the Golden pair. Fourth place went to Steve Hewitt on 1667 with a self bred off Paul & Helen Johnsons birds.

North Hull Club. 9 members sent 118 birds with the red card Second Third & Fourth places going to Jamie Manuel on 1699, 1697, 1692 & 1691 all self bred from Clive Listers high end Willem de Buen stock.   

Hessle Flying Club. 7 members sent 131 birds with the red card going to Pete & Carol Carmichael on 1671 with a cock parents bred by Dave Robinson especially for channel racing which did not happen due to covid. Second & Third places went to Barry Milburn on 1643 & 1629 with a pair of self bred Lambechts. Fourth place went to Laurie Wilson 1619 with another gem from Ernie Goodyear a Van Den Bulk hen.

West Hull Flying Club. 5 members sent 109 birds with the red card going to G. Hall on 1631 with a gift hen off Ian Tuttle. Second place went to J. Martindale on 1629 with a Van Rein cock. Third place went to G. Hall on 1614 with a self bred off Ian Tuttle & R Nicklin cock. Fourth place went to J. Martindale on 1611 with a Van Rein cock.    

Coastal North Section:

Whitby Premier Club. 5 members sent 120 birds with the red card going to S. Mallinson & Son Rob with a Stefan Lambrechts x Patrick Boeckx cock bred by his good friend David Parker of Clitheroe. Thanks David. Second place went to Paul Abbott & Son Darren with a self bred Stefan Lambrechts from Doncaster x Dirk van den Bulk from Eddie Faulkner of Leeds. Third place went to Paul Abbott & Son Darren with hen nest mate to the one above. Fourth place went to S Mallinson & Son Rob with a Frans de Coux x Louis Thijs both pair are fed winners. P Abbott & Son win the pools.

Scarborough Social Club. 8 members sent 150 birds with the red card going to Paddy Johnson & Derek Howard 1620 with a Lambecht off Mr Shipley of Malton. Second place went to Paddy Johnson & Derek Howard on 1620 with a Self bred of multi prize winning Bulks. Third Place went to Paddy Johnson & Derek Howard on 1605 with a Self bred Bulk off K. Arkless birds. Fourth place went to Paddy Johnson & Derek Howard on 1597 with a self bred of K. Arkless & Roger Grundys multi prize winners.    

Coastal South Section:

Holderness Flying Club. 2 members sent 83 birds with the red card going to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1598 with one bred down from their old Van der Merwes/ Sablons x with Ken Lister Janssen. Second place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1557 with a Premier Stud Koopman x Premier stud Ceusters. Third place went to Ken Lister on 1516 with Terry Lodges strain makers the sire has won twice. Fourth place went to Ken Lister on 1492 with one bred off Nigel Laycocks Limbergs stock birds.

Withernsea Homing Society. 2 members sent 18 birds with the red card going to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1507 with a Tony Meeks choice. Second place went to Dean Adamson on 1396 with one off Clive Lister. Third and Fourth places going to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1269 & 1232 with a John Rawson x Tony Meek and a John Rawson 

Due to bird flu:- Wolds Club, Flamborough Club & Bridlington Club were in the 10 klm Zone and unable to send.
