Laurieston Homing Society - Annual Presentation 2022
Friday 25th November took us on the road to Falkirk for Laurieston Homing club presentation in the Grahamston bowling club.
Jim Jack had invited myself and John Hadfield of Blackburn as guest to present the winners with their trophies.
Myself with Jim Jack
Laurieston Homing club fly with the North west federation and a number are members of the Central Scotland 3bird club as well as the Nationals.
Jim had everything in order and the night flowed well with initially the presentation then an introduction of the guest about their time in the sport.
There was a cracking hot buffet which included chicken curry, stovies, chicken pasta and also an array of sandwiches for your £6 ticket.
A cracking venue with social club prices to fit every pocket and an excellent night out for the fanciers.
Jim organised a raffle and also a sale of youngsters which I'm sure will help with the costs for the club.
Thereafter it was time for a question and answer session for the guests on the management of their birds.
Everyone appeared to enjoy their night and as usual it was late into the early hours before we headed home.
Thanks Jim and members for the invite and I wish the club for season 2023.
