Lanarkshire News - Clarkston Club show -23/12/23
Members and friends got together for our club show on Saturday 23/12/23 with the weather not being the best an excellent turn out for our last get together of the year
Everyone enjoying the All winner show
It’s always great to see fanciers wanting to promote their club and keep their shows continuing. The show was well managed by show Secretary Alec McPheat and Craig Gillespie. Two young guys who have overseen the Open and Club events with great efficiency.
Such events are not really about making money it’s all about providing a social event for members to get together and have a blether and enjoy their day.
Members provided a great display of raffle prizes and foodstuffs, so it was a wee free day of celebration and unity.
Members and friends enjoying their day
The show had plenty of birds in the pens for judge George Finlyson of Blackridge to oversee. He had four handling classes to manage.
Thanks to George for his time and hope he enjoyed the day.

It was a great day for the Corrie partnership and this form continues from the recent Open shows.
