I have received a request from Ligoniel and member of Dromore asking why there was 4 Transporters at Kilbeggan last week. I would like to thank the members of Ligoniel who supported the first young bird race, unfortunately Dromore Hps did not participate with any members. The coast lorry Sect F was not sent out to collect as the trailer transported 59 crates to Navan leaving only one space. The Sect H Transporter had to go to the release point as they were having a release of their own. The Larne lorry pigeon were transferred to the Transporter carrying Ligoniel and other club`s Pigeons, This was carried out by 3 members of the Transport crewe, Phiip was allowed to go home as he was not required to go to the release point. He did not receive any changing money. The other two drivers did. To take off any more transporters would not have been cost effective and no one else received changing money. The transport manager agreed with the Sec. that no further changes would be required. This was the correct procedure. If you believe you had a better plan please furnish it to the Transport Manager. As I am publishing this on site . I wish to appeal to all club`s that have spare crates in their clubrooms please inform your driver this weekend and we will do our utmost to have them collected. I have already redistributed 25 crates I require a further 20 at least. Newry and Dist have promised TEN, please assist as there are club`s that have increased their membership. Regards F Russell
