Big Result for Gordon Bros & Sons from Killyleagh Central -
The NIPA released in Dale at 9.00 in a 6mph Nwest wind turning Southwest enroute and have also released in Benamore at 9.15 in a light Southwest wind. Dale had been delayed for a week due to poor weather conditions over the route ended up Benamore (3)the penultimate young bird event was flown on the same day, it turned out a bit erratic. Gordon Bros & Sons from Killyleagh Central had no problems and took the top 16 places in the NIPA Open result with just 2,631 birds competing with the winner recording velocity 1801ypm.

Mid Antrim Combine - NIPA 3rd Benamore 05/09/26
Benamore (3) was flown on Saturday 5th September. The Nipa liberated at 9.15am in light south westerly winds. Keith and Callum Kernohan timed the best bird in the local Ballymena Town at 11.46am to win 1st Ballymena & District, 1st Mid Antrim Combine and 1st Combine 2 Bird. A good result for the team who also won the declared to win in the club. Their winner is Vermeerbergen & Wilms. The sire is the last son off the good pair bred for stock. Dam was bought in as a late bred in 2024 being a daughter of Vermeerbergen/ Wilms 3rd Nat. Ace and a granddaughter off 'Olympic Miss Million'.

Next best Gary Gibson was 1st in Cullybackey and runner up in the Combine on 1581. His winner is a full brother to 1st Section & 8th Open Benamore last year and is a son of 'Red Emperor' and 'Megan'
