This is a beautiful pigeon, a real show pen winner in looks and the hand. This cock was bred for distance racing (our plan was to send him to 500 miles) but unfortunately due to Covid and Brexit the furthest we were able to send him was 325 miles to Guernsey, a notoriously difficult race and he didn't disappoint, see his race record below which includes a Fed win and 21st Combine being one of the longest flyers in the Combine.
We had been saving this pigeon in the hope that our organisation would once again begin channel racing or at the very least start racing from Guernsey again (our organisation stopped several years ago), unfortunately this is not going to be the case so rather than continue to waste him using him as a feeder to rear our sprint birds we've decided to let this cock go in the hope that someone who races distance can breed from him and test his youngsters at a distance they should excel at.

As you can see he has flown Guernsey many times, very few birds fly Guernsey this many times in their race career let alone win so many prizes.
With us not racing over the channel or from Guernsey and concentrating on sprint we have only bred off this cock a couple of times, one winning 492nd in the 2023 Algrave Gold ring race final (the disaster race where the winner came in the dark and the rest of the birds the second day) and the other winning 16th Fed (beaten by 2 loftmates).
