GB-21-Z57164 BLUE cock A ggs Mystique, 14 × 1st and twice National RPRA Ace, and G Son Best Kittel

GB-21-Z57164 BLUE cock A great-grandchild of Mystique, 14 × 1st and twice National RPRA Ace, out of a direct daughter of Best Kittel

GB-21-Z57164 joins two of the strongest breeding lines named anywhere in this set: on the sire's side, a great-grandchild of "Mystique", 14 × 1st and twice National RPRA Ace; on the dam's side, a grandchild of Best Kittel, 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint 2017 and sire of the 1st National Ace KBDB 2020. A blue bird from Pieter Oberholster combining British sprint and middle-distance blood with the top Belgian sprint line.

The Sire — GB-18-Z89890 "Santo Choice"

Cock · son of Santorini × Grahams Choice · Koopman and Houben one-loft blood

Described by the breeder as a "super combination of Koopman and Houben one loft blood" and a "promising breeder". His sire "Santorini" (GB-13-K04042), bred by John Crehan, is a son of "Colt 45" (GB-09-B23245) — winner of 6 × 1st and the RPRA Ace Award 2011 — and the breeding legend Mystique (GB-07-L02105). Santorini's half-brother "Plutology" was 7th SCMDPR (4,478 birds) and 12th SCMDPR (4,403 birds); the card credits the line as sire and grandsire of two OLR car winners.

Mystique herself won 14 × 1st, 2 × Regional RPRA Ace (1,800 members) and 2 × National RPRA Ace (28,000 members), including 1st Combine against 4,316, 3,801 and 1,558 birds and further Combine places against fields of up to 7,230 birds. She went on to breed two 1st Combine winners (3,046 and 2,047 birds).

Santo Choice's dam "Grahams Choice" (GB-11-F47606), bred by Graham Guy, was a "super racer" in the MDPR in 2012, is described as a top breeder, and is grandam of the 3rd Gold Ring Classic MNFC 2021. Houben based.

The Dam — BE-18-4202493 "First Best Kittel"

Hen · direct daughter of Best Kittel × Bulcha · Pipa breeding

A direct daughter of Best Kittel (BE-15-1029362) of Dehon-Demonseau — 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint 2017 and 4th National Ace KBDB Sprint — whose children include the 1st National Ace KBDB 2020, 2nd National Ace KBDB 2018 and 1st Super Ace VFWC 2021. The card calls him "probably the best living breeder in the world, responsible for 100+ first prize winners". The card describes First Best Kittel herself as a "super breeder", credited as grandam to 7 × 1st in 2020/21.

Her dam is "Bulcha" (BE-12-6323968) of Dirk Van den Bulck, grandmother of at least 13 first-prize winners, among them the 13th Final VFWC International 2020 (544 km), the 1st Ace Bird Federation 2020 and 1st prizes against 818, 709 and 671 birds. Bulcha is a daughter of Van den Bulck's basic breeders "Broer Goede Rode" and the "40000 Hen".
