The Sire — NL 21-1578556 "Klk Special One"

Chequer cock · H. Wilpers · grandson of The Special One

His sire, Sohn Special One (NL 17-1261920), is a blue Batenburg-van de Merwe son of The Special One, who won the 1st International Barcelona 2015 against 19,083 pigeons at 1,150 m/min — the only pigeon home on the day of liberation. Sohn Special One's dam is a daughter of New Witbuik (NL 09-1244606), 1st National Barcelona, and she is dam of the 13th National Agen and 55th National Narbonne 2017.

His dam, Barca Special (DV 06535-18-52), is an H. Wilpers chequer from a son of Sumerian Fighter, 1st International Barcelona 2017, and a daughter of Kleine Jade, 1st International Barcelona 2014 and 1st National Barcelona 2014. That Kleine Jade daughter is herself mother of the 9th Zone 3 and 35th National Pau 2020.

The Dam — NL 18-1084469 "Child Sterre"

Co-bred Batenburg-van de Merwe & PME · full sister to the 6th Final Derby Arona 2023

She is a daughter of 039 (NL 16-1509039), a Batenburg/Jellema son of New Laureaat × Kleine Jade, and Sterre (NL 16-3642733), who won Narbonne 2017: 1st National against 4,566 pigeons, 1st International yearlings against 8,480 and 1st International hens against 5,089. Sterre's sire and dam are both Kras birds, from the Hendrik Kras and Snelle Jelle Kras lines.

Both 039's and Sterre's boxes credit them with the 6th Final Derby Arona 2023, the 38th National Bordeaux S2 2023 and the 95th Sea Race 1 Derby Arona 2023, so this hen is a full sister to those birds. 039 is also credited with the 17th National Agen 2018, 50th National St-Vincent 2022 and 73rd National Pau 2021.
