GB25 D 69599 Blue H fantastic "KITTEL" "LUC VERVOORT"
The 1st and 2nd Ace of Noyon Diamantverbond 2021 in one pedigree, one on each side, over two linebred Vervoort families
GB25 D 69599 is a 2025 youngster bred at Fairview Lofts by Ernie Goodyear from a pair of 2023 Belgian birds bred by Luc Vervoort. Both parents come straight out of the Vervoort aces of the Diamantverbond: the sire is a son of Red Ace, 2nd Ace Noyon Diamantverbond 2021, and the dam is a granddaughter of The Ace, 1st Ace Noyon Diamantverbond 2021 — first and second ace of the same competition, one on each side. Behind the dam also stand Het Elfje, 1st Ace Diamantverbond 2022 and 1st Provincial from 11,731 birds, and the Kittel blood of Dirk Van den Bulck.
The Sire — B23-6208768
Blue pied cock · Red Ace × Goed Licht · bred by Luc Vervoort
The sire is bred from two of Vervoort's 2021 aces. His sire, Red Ace (B21-6032238), a Vervoort × Gert Heylen cross, was 2nd Ace Noyon Diamantverbond 2021, with prizes including 2nd of 723, 5th of 424, 6th of 1,193 and 6th of 1,019. Red Ace is a full brother to Nicole (B19-6037823), a Vervoort top breeder — and Nicole appears again on the dam's side.
His dam, Goed Licht (B21-6032203), a blue chequer, was 1st Ace Quievrain Berlaar Hei and 2nd Ace Diamantverbond 2021, winning 4th of 547, 5th of 1,135, 6th of 404 and 7th of 279 among others. She is a full sister to Ace Four (B20-6186004), 2nd Ace Quievrain Diamantverbond. Her sire Den 100/100 was 4th Ace Noyon Diamantverbond 2016; her dam De Mama scored 7th of 776, 8th of 409 and 9th of 471 in 2018.
Both of the sire's parents descend from Kareltje (B13-6284116) × Godelief (B15-6269503): Red Ace through his sire De Zot, Goed Licht through her dam De Mama, and De Zot and De Mama are full brother and sister. The sire is therefore a first-cousin mating,
The Dam — B23-6204959
Blue hen · Kittel and Ace One One lines · bred by Luc Vervoort
The dam's sire is a Vervoort × Van den Bulck blue cock, bred from Kleinzoon Kittel (B18-6016357) × Miss Twenty One (B14-6274621) — the pair that bred Ace One One (B20-6186011), 1st Ace Quievrain Diamantverbond 2020 — so he is Ace One One's full brother. Kleinzoon Kittel is, as the name says, a grandson of Kittel, through a Kittel daughter from Dirk Van den Bulck of Grobbendonk. The card describes Miss Twenty One as best op RVB and lists under her 1st of 614, 3rd of 1,015 and 8th of 1,135.
The dam's dam is the stronger half. She is a daughter of The Ace (B21-6032206), 1st Ace Noyon Diamantverbond 2021 and 5th Ace Provincial Antwerp speed, with 1st of 424, 2nd of 1,019 and 3rd of 793 — a Vervoort × Willem de Bruijn cross carrying the Dutch Couger line. Her mother is Het Elfje (B22-6035511), 1st Ace Diamantverbond 2022 Quievrain, who won 1st of 190, 124, 367 and 368, and at provincial level was 1st of 11,731, 2nd of 15,013, 2nd of 12,555 and 2nd of 6,875. Het Elfje is herself a daughter of Ace One One and Nicole.
A 2025 youngster from two linebred Vervoort birds. Its grandsire Red Ace was 2nd Ace Noyon Diamantverbond 2021; its dam's grandsire The Ace was 1st Ace of the same competition. Behind the dam are Het Elfje, 1st Ace DV 2022 and 1st Provincial from 11,731, Ace One One and the Kittel line. Low inbreeding over two fixed families — a stock bird for short-to-middle distance..
Foot note from Howard himself
In 2024 I was told I had stage 4 prostrate cancer which had gone to my bones, so I sold nearly all my race bird’s including stock. My last sale was due for Dec 2024 with 20 late breds and 4 stock birds. On my visit too Hull Hospital in Nov 2024 to see my consultant Doctor Patu, he informed me that he though my treatment was working because my P.S.I. was dropping from 940, and it is now undetectable, so I decided too give it another try racing, racing only 5 race bird in 2025 old birds on rubbers. They won or were first 4 in every old bird race, ending with 2nd GYA, 1200 odd bird’s.
I was invited to join a very strong club for young birds, and they flew really well winning a few races, in many arriving in bunches.
In 2026 old bird I was 2nd Fed ECT despite me going on a cruise for 2 wks. In young bird season: first Grantham 88ml 1st 2nd 3rd 4th, 1st Ebor Fed; Grantham (2) 1st club 1st Fed; Huntingdon 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th, first 4 in Fed; and in last race of season 1st club 1st Fed, Decoy Lakes.

So thats all bragging done, now onto birds.
Mostly ‘William De Bruije’ from syndicate loft, with a few Luc Vavort’s, all very nr the tree: Lawman, Blue Spider, Erin, Little China Girl, All the Aces, Yurri, Murphys Diamond, Red Rum, Sweet Caroline, Maggy Murphy, and many more. I still have ‘Golden Jade’ – her young this yr alone have won me £1400 in B and B. These will be my last ever sales as I am 86 now.
