GB25 C 49962 GRIZZLE HEN A niece of 1st Provincial Peronne winner "Urana" (12,231 birds), out of a 1st Section BICC Alençon hen from Jos Thone's SUMO line
Sadly never bred from but have to cut back and concentrate on the nationals!GB25 C 49962 is a cross of two proven performance families: a Willem de Bruijn sire who is a full brother to "Urana", 1st Provincial Peronne against 12,231 pigeons, and a Jos Thone dam, "White Mist", who won 1st East Section with the British International Championship Club from Alençon against 5,640 birds in 2017. Behind her sire stand Embregts-Theunis and Gebr. Scheele blood; behind her dam, Thone's foundation cocks SUMO and Arnoldus.
The Sire — NL20-1559042 "Urana Rossi"
Willem de Bruijn · Blue · full brother to "Urana", half-brother to "Olympic Fairytale"
"Urana Rossi" sells on the strength of his nest. His full sister "Urana" won 1st Provincial Peronne (12,231 p.), 1st Quiévrain Rayon West (7,417 p.) and 2nd Duffel (4,231 p.), and was 3rd Ace in Combine, 9th Provincial Ace and 49th National Ace, with a 79th NPO Châteaudun (6,277 p.) besides.
His half-sibling "Olympic Fairytale", by the same sire, was 1st Ace in Combine and won 1st Quiévrain (4,678 p.). Two aces from one cock is what makes this line worth buying into.
The Dam — GB15 Z 59424 "White Mist"
Jos Thone · Grizzle · 1st East Section BICC Alençon, 5,640 birds, 2017
"White Mist" is a racer in her own right: 1st East Section, 1st Open British International Championship Club, Alençon 2017, against 5,640 birds. At stock she has bred on — the card lists her as grand-dam to 1st UK and 8th Open from 5,233 birds in the Algarve Pigeons Golden Race, and also credits 1st UK, 55th Open Pattaya (600 km, 3,757 birds).
She is bred from "SUMO 879", a grandson of Thone's SUMO, and "Poco Queen", a daughter of Poco Real Madrid and half-sister to "Pocaru", the stock hen at Armstrong & Wheatley. The colour comes down this side: dam, grand-dam and great-grand-dam "The Golden Queen" are all grizzles.
