1002429 BLUE HEN A G dght of Milos dam whose grandparents both won the International Barcelona Jelle Jellema

IQ2026-1002429 is the product of a deliberate cross between two tightly bred long-distance families. Her sire, "Inbred Milos" (NL18-1750901), is bred father to daughter on Milos (NL02-2350928), the Verweij-de Haan cock who won 1st NPO Montauban, 1,862 birds — the card notes he was the only bird home on the day in North Holland — and who became sire and grandsire of 1st National St Vincent ZLU and 2nd National Narbonne ZLU. Her dam is a granddaughter of New Laureaat (1st International Barcelona 2013, 25,382 birds) and Kleine Jade (1st International Barcelona 2014).

The Sire — NL18-1750901 "Inbred Milos"

Verweij-de Haan · Blue White-flight · Milos × his own daughter

His sire is Milos himself. His dam, Mimi (NL14-1802260), is a Milos daughter out of Inbred Toon 377 (NL09-1026377), who the card lists as dam of 12th National Pau, 3,551 birds and 21st National Agen, 4,679 birds. A Milos son out of a Milos daughter is as close a concentration of one breeding cock as is possible, and that is the point of him: he was bred for the stock loft, not the race basket.

The record on this side is Milos's produce. The card credits Milos as sire and grandsire of 1st National St Vincent ZLU, 2nd National Narbonne ZLU, 2nd National Tarbes, 4th National St Vincent, 8th and 9th National Perpignan, 9th National Marseille and 12th National Pau, and describes him as a five-star superbreeder. Milos's own dam, Leontien (NL98-1268541), was 6th National Bergerac; his sire was a brother of the Verweij-de Haan cock De Toon.

The Dam — NL21-1589653

Jelle Jellema · Dark Chequer · daughter of New Jade 9

Her sire, New Jade 9 (NL16-1882261), Batenburg/Jellema, is a son of New Laureaat × Kleine Jade — both parents 1st International Barcelona winners. He is credited as father of 116th and 193rd National Agen 2019, 166th National Perpignan 2019, 411th National Pau 2020 and a 48th place in a VFWCPR final.

Her dam, NL19-1663498, is herself bred father to daughter: her sire is the Jellema Doffer (NL07-1187377), father of a 1st National Agen yearlings and 4th National St Vincent, and her dam is his daughter Kleine Agen (NL18-1098959), Gebr. Holleman — 1st National Agen yearlings 2019 and 2nd International Agen yearlings 2019. So both of this hen's parents are inbred, on two entirely separate families.
