GB2025 D 68601 "Bunting"Dk hen lines , 1st Ace Algarve Golden Race 2022, Siam x Diamond 3 X 1st OLR MIKE CHADWICK

GB2025 D 68601 "Bunting"Dk hen super Ealswith, 1st Ace Algarve Golden Race 2022, Siam x Diamond OLR specials

By a son bred twice from Ealswith, 1st Ace Algarve Golden Race 2022, out of a stock hen who has already bred a 24th Open at Pattaya from 11,418 entries

Bunting is a One Loft Race pedigree from top to bottom. On her sire's side she carries "Ealswith" (DV08897-22-1314), 1st Ace Pigeon Algarve Golden Race 2022, twice — he is both her great-grandsire through her sire's sire and through her sire's dam, so he accounts for a quarter of her ancestry. On her dam's side she comes from a Belgian national-ace line that is already producing at One Loft level: her dam has bred a 24th Open at Pattaya from 11,418 entries.

The Sire — DV08897-24-7433 "Siam"

Chequer cock · double grandson of Ealswith · out of a daughter of two Algarve 2022 winners

Siam is bred down the middle of the Algarve Golden Race. His sire "Steffl" (DV08897-23-1368) is a son of Ealswith and "Algarve Ace", a hen the card records as a 1st prize winner in the Algarve Golden OLR final. His dam DV08897-23-1128 is a daughter of Ealswith and "Beocca", 1st prize winner of the Algarve Golden Race final 2022, winning €200,000. So both his parents are by Ealswith, and both are out of hens that won the Algarve final.

The card describes Steffl as a breeder of OLR prize winners and Siam's dam as a half/full sister to many breeders of OLR prizewinners. Siam is himself a 2024 cock, so his own produce record is only now being made.

The Dam — GB2022V62245 "Diamond"

Chequer pied hen · bred for stock · already a producer of OLR scorers

Diamond was bred especially for stock and has already earned her place. She is the dam of GB2024V28981, 24th Open and 2nd UK in the Pattaya OLR extra race (600km, original entry 11,418) — Bunting's half-sibling. The card also lists her as dam of "City Boy", 9th Hot Spot 2 North West OLR (117 miles), and of GB2024V28813, 13th Hot Spot 4 and 93rd Hot Spot 2, Europa Masters OLR 2024.

She is a half-sister to "Gold Wing" (23V29129), 2nd Ace Pigeon Algarve Golden Race 2023 from an original entry of 7,306, winning €25,000, with 16th Open Hot Spot 1 from 5,233 birds on the way. Her sire is "Incredible II" (BELG2020-4228463), bred by F & J Vandenaheede, and her dam "Houston" (BELG2020-4226853) is a half-sister to the 3rd National Ace KBDB Allround 2020.
