GB23V 71963 Blue Hen Bred by Syndicate Lofts, a direct daughter Mike Ganus WITPEN MIKE, with a daughter of the Portugal pair.

"BLUE ROSIE"

Out of a full sister to the 1st Ace Pigeon and car winner at the Algarve Golden Race, by a direct son of the Ganus family's super breeding hen "Abagail"

On offer are some stock pigeons from Kingsway Lofts UK (William Donachie)

For sale only due to a change of plan for 2027, and a bigger focus now on
One Loft Racing for which more loft space is required. This means over a series of sales that some impeccably bred stock pigeons acquired with no expense spared will now be parted with, as well as some pigeons from the younger stock team that were bred for stock and will no longer be required… my loss, will most certainly be someone’s gain!

"Blue Rosie" brings together two families that have both delivered at the richest one loft races in the world. Her dam, "Whole Lot Of Rosie", is a full sister to "Blue and Lonesome", 1st Ace Pigeon and Car Winner at the Algarve Golden Race 2017 against 5,097 entries, who won the car by an hour and a half. Her sire, "Witpen Mike", is a direct son of "Abagail", the Ganus Family Loft hen behind a SAMDPR finalist that won $105,000 and a granddaughter line that includes the 1st Victoria Falls Race 2018 ($200,000).

The Sire — AU 2017 GFL87 "Witpen Mike"

Bred by Mike Ganus · direct son of "Abagail" × "Strain Maker"

Witpen Mike is American-rung and bred by Mike Ganus from two proven producers. His sire, "Strain Maker" (DV-1219-05-622) of Helmut Mann, bred "Said In Spun Silver", 2nd SAMDPR Final against 2,793 birds (arriving with the winner), 1st Knock Out Winner, 1st Country Challenge Winner and 4th Grand Average Winner, with $145,000 in total winnings. Said In Spun Silver has since bred on as the dam of "Laura Is A Big Winner".

His dam, "Abagail" (AU 2009 GFL411), is described on the card as "a super breeding hen". She is the dam of "Mike Has A Very Good One", 15 prizes in the 2013 SAMDPR including 53rd in the Final, total winnings $105,000, and of "Laughing Jewel", 1st, 4th, 4th and 4th in the 2011 SAMDPR training races. As a grandmother her record is broader still:

"Red Monkey" — 1st Victoria Falls Race 2018, winning $200,000

"Jaws 1" (AFL) — 2nd Victoria Falls Race 2017, winning $100,000

"Junior 2" (Donnely & Kirkwood) — 5th SAMDPR 2018, winning $110,000

1st Ace Pigeon 2015 (AFL), Pacific North West Challenge

"Winston" (AFL) — sire of "Hoosier Treasure", 2nd Hoosier Classic 2016, winning $30,000

The Dam — GB21 V 38300 "Whole Lot Of Rosie"

Bred by Syndicate Lofts · full sister to "Blue and Lonesome" and "Shoot To Thrill"

Whole Lot Of Rosie raced herself, and at the big end: 212th in the Algarve Great Derby Final against 2,026 birds and 24th prize in Hot Spot 2 against 3,253 birds. Her real weight, though, is her nest. She is a full sister to two of the loft's best one loft race performers:

"Blue and Lonesome" — 1st Ace Pigeon, Algarve Golden Race 2017, and Car Winner from 5,097 entries, an hour and a half ahead

"Shoot To Thrill" (nest mate to Blue and Lonesome) — 1st UK (203 birds), 12th International (3,044 birds), Hot Spot Average SAMDPR 2017; 3rd UK (260 birds), 50th International (4,109 birds), Grand Averages SAMDPR 2017

Her sire, "Pharoah" (GB-16-V49019), is the cock the card names as one half of the "Portugal Pair". Her dam, "Femke" (BELG-16-6128652) from Rik Hermans, is a half sister to "Chucky", 4th Belgian National Ace Young Bird KBDB Midfond 2018.
