GB26 C 55737 GRIZZLE C A son of "Double Binky", bred half-brother × half-sister to Binky, a hen from Eijerkamp's

GB26 C 55737 GRIZZLE COCK A son of "Double Binky", bred half-brother × half-sister to Binky, out of a hen from Eijerkamp's Jackpot and Kaïn lines.

Concentrating on the NFC & Channel racing, I am cutting back on our very successful sprint team !!

GB26 C 55737 is a 2026 grizzle cock that brings two families together. His sire, "Double Binky", is linebred to Rudy Van Reeth's "Binky", described on the card as "the outstanding young bird". His dam is bred from Eijerkamp birds. Behind her are "Vetblauwe Jackpot", sire or grandsire of 1st National Ace Pigeon Yearlings 2019, and "Kaïn", winner of 1st Peronne from 5,535 birds.

THE SIRE

GB25 V 39135 "Double Binky"

Grizzle · Rudy Van Reeth · bred by Ash Burdett · doubled on Binky

Double Binky's sire is "Son of Binky" (GB24 V 01296) and his dam is "Dtr of Binky" (GB23 D 00046). Both are by "Binky" (GB22 V 25023), so Double Binky is the product of a deliberate half-brother × half-sister mating.

The card's account of Binky is that "the performance of Binky as a young bird racer was so good that his co-efficient was better than the bird that won 1st Ace Titan Games YB 2022. It was only an administration error that prevented his performances from being considered for the award." Binky is a son of "Axel" (BELG21-6211502) and "Angel 'Dark Horse'" (GB19 N 19538).

The two dams on this side bring their own records. Son of Binky's dam, GB17 C 38599, is described as "dam and grandam to Club and Fed winners". Dtr of Binky's dam, "Princess Alba" (GB21 E 18446), is called "superstar of 2021".

THE DAM

GB25 V 74661 "Eijerkamp"

Chequer hen · bred by Ash Burdett from direct Eijerkamp birds

Her sire, "Red Sensation" (NL22-8228771), is a grandson of "Vetblauwe Jackpot" (NL12-4148200). The card calls Vetblauwe Jackpot a superbreeder and credits him as sire or grandsire of 1st National Ace Pigeon Yearlings "De Allerbeste" 2019. His line also includes 1st Morlincourt from 23,392 birds, 1st Bierges from 17,843, 1st Provincial Duiven from 12,877 and 1st Provincial Weert from 11,619. Red Sensation's dam, "Red Jackpot" (NL17-1820042), won 15 prize cards in 2018.

Her dam, "Esme" (NL21-1669726), is Eijerkamp Janssen and a granddaughter of "Kaïn" (NL03-1911662). Kaïn won 1st Peronne from 5,535 birds, 2nd Strépy-Thieu from 8,468, 5th Haasrode from 7,848 and 6th Ace Short Distance. He is credited as sire or grandsire of 1st NPO Breuil (7,793 birds), 1st NPO Nanteuil (7,731) and 1st NPO Bourges (6,187). Esme's sire, "Redouan", is a son of Kaïn and is credited as sire or grandsire of a 1st National Ace Short Distance.
