IQ26-1002483 MEALY HEN Skittel × Gold Dust on top, Blizzard King Kittel over a direct Kittel hen below

IQ26-1002483 MEALY HEN Skittel × Gold Dust on top, Blizzard King Kittel over a direct Kittel hen below — Kittel's family met from three directions

Kittel's family meets here from three directions. Her sire Young Gold is a son of Kittel's top breeding son out of Kittel's full sister; her dam is by Blizzard King Kittel, 1st National Ace KBDB 2021 and 1st World Best Young Bird Speed FCI 2021, out of Red Diamond Kittel, a direct Kittel daughter bred for the stock loft.

The Sire — NL 19-1413710 "Young Gold"

Mealy pied cock · Dirk Van den Bulck · Skittel × Gold Dust

He is bred from Skittel (BE 15-4264387), a blue white-flight cock described as Kittel's top breeding son, out of New Golden Lady (1st prize against 1,080 birds), and Gold Dust (BE 15-4264261), a mealy pied hen from De Goede Rode × Olympic Rosita — the same pair that bred Kittel — so she is Kittel's full sister. The card calls her the best breeding sister of Kittel in the world.

Gold Dust is credited as mother of Kiki (16-1259635), 1st Acebird Overall Combine with 15 prizes, and grandmother of 18-5129512, 2nd National Ace Young Bird PIPA ranking 2018. Young Gold is therefore a son of Kittel's son out of Kittel's full sister — nephew to aunt, F = 12.5% in him.

The Dam — BE 22-4207845 "Top Child Blizzard"

Flanders Collection · Blizzard King Kittel × Red Diamond Kittel

Her sire is Blizzard King Kittel (BE 21-2011289), the grizzle bred by Dirk Van den Bulck and Pierre Beyl: 1st National Ace KBDB 2021, 1st World Best Young Bird Speed FCI 2021 across 66 countries, 2nd Olympic Ace Category F 2022, 1st Provincial Ace KBDB 2021 and 1st Ace in a 400-plus-loft combine. He is by Father Blizzard 030 (Pierre Beyl) out of Grizzle Kitmachine (Dirk Van den Bulck).

Her dam, Red Diamond Kittel (BE 17-4231278), is a Van den Bulck mealy bred direct from Kittel for the stock loft, out of a daughter of De Goede Rode — Kittel's own sire — so she is from a half-brother × half-sister mating. Red Diamond is credited as mother of birds winning 1st of 1,446, 3rd of 1,026, 5th of 2,265, 6th of 1,574, 8th of 2,012 and 20th of 2,747.
