2022 AGM & Committee Meeting The 2022 AGM was held on Saturday 7 January 2023 at South Newton Village Hall, Salisbury commencing at 1pm. 2022 AGM & Committee Meeting
The 2022 AGM was held on Saturday 7
January 2023 at South Newton Village Hall, Salisbury
commencing at 1pm. Apologies were given from those members that were unable to attend.
The minutes of the 2021 AGM were passed and there were no matters arising. The Club Accounts were all
in order and were passed.
We received 185 resignations which were accepted with regret, which included our Irish members who at
this present time are unable to fly with us and also 10 members who sadly passed away during the 2022
season.
As it was the end of 2022 business all offices were declared vacant and Jill Rogers kindly stood in as
temporary Chairman. The 2023 BBC Committee and Officials are as follows: President – Jill Rogers,
Chairman – Bill Knox, Life Vice Presidents as before they are Mrs Hazel Hooper, Mrs Ingrid Jurd,
Roger Hurst, Chris King, Dave Whitefield, Nigel Rigiani, Roy Ferriman and Richard Green. Life Vice
Presidents serving on Committee – Chris King, Committee – Martin Norman, Clive Rogers, Mark
Gilbert and Don Harvey. Secretary/ Treasurer – Clare Norman, Auditor - Jill Rogers.
The result of the ballot is as follows: 28 ballot papers were returned with 4 not counted as unsigned.
Proposition 1 – 17 For 7 Against & Propostion 2 – 14 For 10 Against.
Finally, permission was given to destroy old documents and the AGM closed at 1.35pm.

WADEBRIDGE & GUERNSEY OB RACES – Bovingdon, Brighton, Frome, Rugeley & Southampton.
GUERNSEY YB/AA RACES - Bovingdon, Brighton, Frome, Rugeley, Southampton & Steventon.
MESSAC & BORDEAUX RACES – Frome, Higham, Rugeley (evening before), Southampton &
Steventon.
PAU – NFC marking station to be used & BARCELONA - BICC marking station (Sunbury) to be used.
Any help at the marking stations would be greatly appreciated by all members as some marking days will
be busier than others due to the paperwork involved.
