The father of the pigeon is Halterman through pigeons off David Baron , and the dam is bred of Kersel hen of Curtis, Wall & Lunt crossed with frans wildermeesch bred off a daughter of Fire Cracker off Porter Richardsons crossed with M Yates & Sons pigeons, John won the MNFC in 2016 as well The pigeons returned in excellent condition. 2nd Open & 2nd Section T S Perkins & Seymour Our 2-year-old blue chequer cock, flown on our Chaos system, has been a model of consistency and determination over the past two seasons, continually proving his class against top competition. ⸻ 2025 Season Highlights This year he has once again excelled, with a series of outstanding results including: • 2nd National – Vire • 1st Open Federation • 17th Open Fed – Stoney Cross • 12th Open Fed – Stoney Cross • 1st Club, 6th Open Fed – Upper Heyford ⸻ 2024 Season Performances As a yearling he was equally impressive, showing early signs of his quality and reliability with: • 9th Open Fed – Stoney Cross • 3rd Open Fed – Bradford (beaten only by two loftmates) • 5th Open Fed – Stoney Cross ⸻ Pedigree This cock’s bloodlines are steeped in proven winners. He is bred from a cock obtained from Ace Lofts, a son of “Milo”, the exceptional Verkirk pigeon who has sired multiple top national performers. The dam of the sire is “Ruby”, the famous 1st National BICC winner, and one of Ace most influential hens. On the dam’s side, he is out of our good racing hen “26”, herself a triple Federation winner with numerous other top performances to her name. She too carries the Ruby bloodline, being a granddaughter of Ruby—bringing the winning genes from both sides of the pedigree together in this outstanding cock. Trevor and I both felt he was in exceptional condition going into the Fougères race—if anything, even better than before Vire—and we were confident he would put up another big result. Unfortunately, fate had other plans. He failed to make it home on the day, and when he did return the following morning, it was clear he had survived a serious peregrine strike, coming back with half a wing missing. While that injury has ended his season, it also showed his unbelievable heart and determination to still make it home despite the damage. This blue chequer cock embodies everything we value in a racer: speed, consistency, heart, and pedigree. With bloodlines directly linking back to Milo and Ruby of Aesop’s, and out of our proven hen 26, his performances have fully justified the class in his breeding. Aâ¦
