GB26 V 56596 BLUE HEN Three 1st International Barcelona winners — New Laureaat, The Special One and Jef

GB26 V 56596 BLUE HEN Three 1st International Barcelona winners — New Laureaat, The Special One and Jef — behind one hen, with New Laureaat on both sides

This hen carries three 1st International Barcelona winners in one pedigree: New Laureaat (1st International Barcelona 2013 against 25,382 pigeons), The Special One (1st International Barcelona 2015 against 19,083 pigeons, the only bird home on the day) and Jef (1st International Barcelona 2019 against 16,051 pigeons). Her sire is bred from The Special One and New Laureaat; her dam is a daughter of Jef's nest brother out of a New Laureaat daughter. New Laureaat is therefore on both sides, and Kleine Jade, 1st International Barcelona 2014, stands behind the sire.

The Sire — GB20 C 47838 "Special Laureaat 838"

Chequer cock · Crammond & Langstaff · DNA certified

The card describes him as outstanding breeding, loaded with 1st International Barcelona winners 2013, 2014 and 2015, and the pedigree bears it out. His sire, Special 202 (NL 16-1882202), is a chequer son of The Special One bred by Batenburg-van de Merwe, out of NL 15-1689219, a daughter of New Laureaat × Kleine Jade — the 2013 and 2014 International winners.

His dam, Fontwell Lady 63 (NL 16-1509063), is a chequer white-flight daughter of New Laureaat, bred by Batenburg, out of NL 11-1722484, a daughter of De Etterbak (NL 02-2049323), 1st International National Ace Pigeon Barcelona. So the sire brings The Special One through his father, New Laureaat twice, Kleine Jade once, and the Etterbak long-distance ace line through his grandmother.

The Dam — BE 21-2126239 "Jef Laureat 239"

Daughter of Jef's nest brother × a New Laureaat daughter

Her sire is Nest brother Jef (BE 16-2051064), bred by Jeroen & Stijn Rans from Eddy Mannelijk × Mother Jef, the pair that produced Jef, winner of the 1st International Barcelona 2019 against 16,051 pigeons. He had already placed 35th National Perpignan 2018 against 3,966 birds.

Her dam, NL 18-1084646, is a Batenburg-van de Merwe daughter of New Laureaat out of Special Narbonne Vrouw (NL 16-1509066), 2nd National and 2nd International Narbonne yearlings 2017 against 6,287 birds — herself a daughter of The Special One. NL 18-1084646 is mother of the 21st National Marseille 2021 and 123rd National Narbonne 2021.

This super summer bred baby is definitely for the distance enthusiast !!
