GB26 V 92283 GRIZZLE HEN Blizzard King Kittel three times in four generations, over Kittel and the Olympic Rosita line

A 2026 grizzle hen bred around one pigeon: Blizzard King Kittel (BE 21-2011289), 1st National Ace KBDB 2021 and 1st World Best Young Bird Speed, FCI 2021, across 66 countries. He is her paternal grandsire and he also sired both of her dam's parents, so he appears three times in four generations. Underneath him, on her sire's side, runs Dirk Van den Bulck's Kittel (BE 13-6139803), 1st National Ace KBDB Speed 2013.

The Sire — BE 23-4190441 "Son Blizzard"

Grizzle cock · Flanders Collection · Blizzard King Kittel × a Kittel daughter

A direct son of Blizzard King Kittel, out of BE 17-4231403 "Daughter Kittel", a blue Flanders Collection hen by Kittel himself. He therefore carries the two biggest KBDB young-bird speed aces of the last decade at half-blood each; the card describes Blizzard King Kittel as the best KBDB young-bird ace since Kittel.

His dam is more concentrated than her name suggests. Her own dam, BE 16-4230245, is a full sister to "Olympic Rosita" (BE 12-6254038), who is Kittel's dam. Daughter Kittel is therefore Kittel paired back to his own aunt — a deliberate doubling of the Olympic Rosita line, and an inbreeding coefficient of 12.5% on her alone.

The Dam — NL 23-9646127

Grizzle hen · "Double" Blizzard King Kittel

Bred by pairing a son and a daughter of Blizzard King Kittel. Her sire, BE 22-4207876 "Blizzard Max" (grizzle, DNA-tested according to the card), is Blizzard King Kittel out of "Pitbul Kittla" (BE 19-6195060), a Kittel × Pitbul hen in the Van Reeth line. Pitbul Kittla won 1st against 222 birds, 2nd against 600, 3rd against 806, 4th against 606, 5th against 443 and 8th against 1,247, and is credited with breeding winners of her own. Her sire "Vince" (BE 18-6138056) is described as top inbred to Rosita.

Her dam, BE 22-4215970 "Olympic Elissa", is a daughter of Blizzard King Kittel out of "Golden Gift 28" (BE 20-4205828), a Bulck/Heremans hen by Leo Heremans' "Donkere Olympiade" (NL 18-1799880) out of Dirk Van den Bulck's "Golden Red Kittel" (BE 15-4100123).

Blizzard Max and Olympic Elissa are half-brother and half-sister, so the dam is herself inbred to Blizzard King Kittel at 12.5%.

This is a summer bred youngster and will be ready for breeding in the spring !
