GB24N 30020 Chequer cock Bred by Malik & Khan ‘ACE LOFTS’ a direct son of the Jan Hooyman ace breeder ‘MUFASA’ direct son of the legendary NEW HARRY!
On offer are some stock pigeons from Kingsway Lofts UK (William Donachie)
For
sale only due to a change of plan for 2027, and a bigger focus now
on
One Loft Racing for which more loft space is required. This
means over a series of sales that some impeccably bred stock pigeons
acquired with no expense spared will now be parted with, as well as
some pigeons from the younger stock team that were bred for stock and
will no longer be required… my loss, will most certainly be
someone’s gain!
Ike is a 2024 chequer cock bred at Ace Lofts from two proven producers. His sire, “Mufasa” (NL17-1409875), is the sire of a 1st NFC National Coutances winner from 3,246 birds and grandsire of a 2nd National Guernsey. His dam, “Gemma” (NL21-1504844), is a Koopman hen who has already bred 1st Blandford, 359 birds.
The Sire — NL17-1409875 “Mufasa”
Blue cock · J. Hooymans · sire of a 1st NFC National winner
Mufasa has earned his place in the UK. He is the sire of the 1st NFC National Coutances, 3,246 birds — one of the races every serious British fancier knows. The produce record printed under him also includes 1st Honiton, 2,408 birds and 6th Blandford, 864 birds, and he is grandsire of 1st Section Guernsey (1,724 birds) and 2nd National Guernsey (3,219 birds).
His own breeding explains why. His sire, “New Harry” (NL14-1219811), won 1st Niergnies against 14,737 birds and 1st St-Pierre-Maxence against 12,894 birds, plus 1st Melun, 9th Troyes (6,390 birds) and 38th Blois (6,613 birds). His dam, “Sister Harry” (NL11-1912078), won 1st Blois against 37,728 birds, a further 1st against 22,340 birds and a 3rd against 21,520 birds, with five further prizes against fields of 3,000 to 5,500 birds.
The Dam — NL21-1504844 “Gemma”
Chequer hen · C & G Koopman · dam of 1st and 4th Blandford
Gemma is already producing in Britain: she is dam of 1st Blandford, 359 birds and 4th Blandford, 547 birds. She is pure C & G Koopman, and she is deliberately bred. Her sire “Vanir” (NL17-1644095) is a son of the super racer and breeder “Zina”, and is credited on the card with 2nd Chantilly against 13,008 birds, 9th Orleans (9,670 birds) and 64th Boxtel (11,222 birds). Her dam “Jazmin” (NL15-1230781) was three times in the top 8 of the NPO — 3rd Troyes (3,783 birds), 7th NPO (2,566 birds) and 8th Sens (3,083 birds) — and won 1st Rethel.
Vanir and Jazmin are first cousins: their sires, “Dundee” and “Royal Dream”, are full brothers out of “Cassius” × “Lady Promise”. Gemma therefore carries that Koopman pair twice, and she is the reason this pedigree is more than a cross of two good names.
